"About 2 years ago we hired Topping Landscaping after a steady decline in service from our long-time lawn service. Ron visited us within a day of our initial inquiry and provided an itemized and very fairly priced quote for a variety of services that we requested. Since then Topping has shown up every week, even during the current drought when they may arrive then decide the lawn doesn't need mowing. They are meticulous in mowing, weed-whacking and blowing away debris, and they do an excellent job of cleaning up leaves in spring and fall. Where they have shined the brightest is in maintenance of our numerous flower beds: clean, deep edging, very thorough weeding, and plentiful, even mulching. Ron also suggested lining a couple weed-prone areas with nice-looking large stones, and that has made a huge difference in ease of maintenance as well as appearance. We are now moving to a new home and will be out of Topping's service area, but if we could we would definitely keep them onboard for the new home. "I first contacted Arborway Tree Service late last year to have them look at the large Oak tree in my side yard. I wanted to know if the tree was in good condition (I had just moved into the house the year before) or if it would eventually have to be removed. This would have been a large undertaking since the tree is about 40 feet tall, and covers a good part of the yard. They came out and told me that I had a beautiful, healthy Red Oak tree. They did a root fertilization on the tree for the winter. I contacted them again this past summer about pruning the tree. It had a lot of dead wood and had grown over the telephone wires and the roof. I hired them to do the pruning. They came out a couple of weeks ago. They went right to work. They pruned quite a bit of the tree, going up into the tree, walking on branches to reach the areas to be cut, and mulched it all in a wood chipper. I am very happy with the way the tree was pruned and with the way the men just went to work and completed the job. I would definitely use them again. I really like the tree and hope to keep it around for a long time"
