Jim not only took the time to go over what needed to be done to get the washer up and running again, but suggested moving the appliances to a better location in the basement, freeing up the space for the pool table my husband's been dreaming of. He came back in a day or two and was able to complete all the necessary plumbing, replacing and re-routing the old flimsy dryer vent, removing old water lines and old laundry sink, and moving both washer and dryer to their new location, all at a very reasonable price - and completed in a span of about six hours. He even included a faucet leak repair and a drain popup fix in the total price. Jim was friendly, polite, professional and an expert in his field. We'll be welcoming him back in the near future to re-install the toilet and sink in the restoration process."

After explaining the issues I was having, he offered to come by on Saturday even though their normal business hours are Monday-Friday. He showed up on time and got right to work. "Great. George is a solo-plumber and seems to do a great job. His wife answers the phones daily while he's out working; a busy guy, he does respond within 1-2 days for routine jobs (at least to schedule it) and I'd imagine much faster for emergencies. He has a large truck with parts/supplies on board and gives great information to the homeowner (us) while he's working to decrease our need for future service calls. If there's a project he thinks we can handle (and thus save the money) he's happy to discuss it and provide suggestions - even if that means we don't use him to do the work. Have been happy with all the work he's done thus far and very glad he gave us the hookup on warranty information for an appliance we otherwise would have bought from him. Saved a bunch of $$$! Don't know what plumbers should charge - that's the only reason for the 'B' rating - but his rates seem fair. Will call again if future plumbing work is needed. <br />"

"Excellent. I contacted Lou through Angis's list and he called me within 24 hours to set up a date to give me an estimate on the work that needed to be done. He arrived on time and looked over the work that needed to be done. He said he would e-mail me an estimate for the work which he did a couple of days later. I felt it was a fair price and told him he had the job. On Friday Lou was right on time and completed the work the same day and also removed all the old pipes and cleaned up the work are. I'm very satisfied with Lou's work and will use him again if I have any plumbing issues."
