"A soft wall due to improperly installed gutter by some other entity or homeowner caused water to constantly leak into the wall from the exterior roofline. This soft wall grow moldy and become riddled with pests/bugs. The contractor identified the potential issues, agreed to explore and open the walls and discuss the conditions, made sound recommendations for repair and did exactly what was noted in the repair (replaced a load bearing exterior wall, fixed the sill plate, completed the roof, shingles etc. and closed up the walls on the inside with insulation and sheet rock.). The work was timely, well done, the workers were clean as they did the job and kept the rest of the property clean. The manager of the job David Apel was and is an excellent communicator with phone/email/text and photos of processes and progress. I am going to use this company in my own investment endeavors on other properties and projects given the level of finished work, the timing and especially the level of detailed communication."

"A1 Landscaping was a fantastic choice. We hired Frank after seeing some of his work in neighboring yards. The landscaping in front of our house was overgrown, mulch has broken down and weeds took over, in short it was an ugly mess. Frank responded to my call on the same day, came out soon after to take a look at the space and sent me an estimate for materials and work before too long. He gave me time to go over his proposal without being pushy. Frank was prompt, very organized, and had his equipment, new plants and mulch ready to go. He worked efficiently and in less than two days the front looked fantastic! His choice of plants complemented not only the house but also matched the Japanese maple we wanted to keep. He installed edging (I trusted his recommendation and it looks great!). Frank was flexible when we asked (a week or so in advance) if he could also mulch an existing playscape on our property. Any changes to the original scope of work (and quote) were discussed and approved by us. Frank left the property perfectly tidy after his work was done.
