"Joe and his team did a great job! They explained everything thoroughly and was patient with all of the questions that we had. They handled everything with the permit and the inspector and included the fee in our bill. They removed removed the damaged sidewalk blocks and apron and prepped everything for the inspector in less than a day. Day two was concrete pouring and driveway replacement. Everything looks great and I expect it all to last for years! I highly recommend them!"

"Work went exceptionally well from start to finish. We were referred by a friend, and called Adam for a quote on a small landscape re-design job. Adam met with us several times to get an idea of what we were looking for and to discuss details of timing/options/cost for the job. He did a good job of listening and providing suggestions to get us to exactly what we were looking for. He also did a good job of letting us know what our options were without over-promising or pushing us over our budget, which is pretty hard to find. The work was done quickly, and the quality/attention to detail was excellent. The crew showed up on time, was friendly, and did a great job of cleaning up/not ripping up the yard. Probably most importantly, Adam had the best communication skills of any landscaper/contractor I've ever hired. He responded quickly to phone calls/texts, and didn't let any planning/details go until he was sure that my wife and I were on the same page with him. "Our driveway had several large deep cracks: at the garage apron, where it met the street, one across the middle, and many smaller crack throughout. We were given an estimate to patch (cut back the asphalt at the large cracks and patch), OR to patch and resurface the entire driveway. We opted for the patch/resurface and it looks fantastic (it’s like a brand new driveway)! We also decided (last minute) to add on the sealcoat right after the paving, which Frank was happy to do. Frank was great and on-site during all of the work. All phone calls/texts were answered immediately. The estimate was accurate. One thing to note is that the weather will dictate the scheduling (which Frank told us at the estimate). We got weeks of rain after our estimate so it took almost 2 months to get scheduled, but it was certainly worth the wait. Would recommend and hire again."

"American came and did the cleanout and in-line camera inspection for $400 and later sent the $8000 sewer line replacement proposal warning us that the clogging problem could reoccur.  The $400 was apparently reasonable since the line clogged again in a week or 2 and we called another plumber to do a cleanout and inspection and they also charged $400.  We were concerned about the seemingly high price from American; that is why we called a different plumber for the 2nd cleanout so we could get an independent second opinion since we apparently did have a recurring problem.  The difference was the 2nd plumber, Carney Plumbing of Line Lexington, PA, saw that the problem was a crack in the line that was letting dirt and ground water in causing the clogs, not just a dip in the line, and they gave an estimate of ~$3900 for the exact same sewer line replacement!  We had Carney do the sewer line replacement work and there is no way American could have done a better job that would be worth more than 2 times the price.  American did a reasonable job on the cleanout, but their pricing for the sewer line was excessive.

"Josh and Virgil were great!! We recently had and old railroad tie retaining wall replaced with a beautiful hardscaped wall and it turned out great!! This was only the first of many projects that we will have done by A Plus Landscaping, they truly live up to their name! Both of these guys were punctual, putting in full days of work to get the job done in a timely manner. They cleaned up after the job and left us satisfied!
