Then he saw the light switch in the kitchen was defective. Checked the new replacement light before going to the local hardware store for a replacement switch. Steve installed the switch and then installed the light/fan very promptly. I'm happy to say we have our handy man going forward."

"Steve is an excellent worker, he does exactly what is asked of him in a timely manner. The contractor (#@#@**and ) I originally hired to install a second bath in my home refused to put up the shower door, too meticulous, too hard he said. Steve installed the shower door and it is perfect !! Steve replaced a hose on the toilet ( the previous contractor put on) that was too short and in a crimp causing the toilet to take several minutes to fill up, he fixed the stopper in the bathroom sink that also was not previously installed properly. I wanted two light fixtures changed and he put the covers on my vent / fan light in both bathrooms along with the new light above the bathroom sink. The night before he arrived the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms started smoking. Steve checked it out to find the fan motor locked down, he installed a new ceiling fan. I cannot say enough about his work ethic. The jobs I have are small, (except the pain in the rear shower door),and most contractors would not want to deal with them but Steve did, he charged me by the hour and did not waste time about getting things done. I have several more odd jobs to be done and will definitely hire him again..... <br />"

"They contacted me immediately right after I contacted you. Set job up for following Friday. Cost was $2,000 but I had to have done. He did say cleaned inside and outside of unit and renailed some siding tornado had torn loose. Two employees worked five hours, one worked 4-1/2. Had a repair job at sons house for duct work..gave me price of $150 and was supposed to do following Friday..did not show up. Was going in install approx six sheets of metal roofing but did not. Was pleased he showed up on time for first job but very disappointed in his not following thru on second job. Maybe like some other contractors...only want big buck jobs. After I called him I’m Friday he called back later that night and said could do on Saturday. I didn’t take messages off. Called last Sunday night and no response from him."
