Our house had a new roof installed by the previous owner on about 2/3 of the roof but the metal roof still was in place on parts of the house painted with aluminum fiber paint and box gutters. I wanted a consistent look to the house -i.e tear out old roof and replace to match the rest of the house, replace box gutters around porch and then on another piece of the roof remove box gutters entirely and replace with modern hanging gutters.
