They actually alway do extra just to put their touch on itn. Dwayne is my favorite contractor out of all I have hired in my 40 years of remodeling. The young man is joyful to be around every day wise beyond his years. He even allows my children to "help" and teaches them something that will actually be useful to them. Even though I know they are being a pain, he never lets on and always tells them please and thank you. Which is rarer than rarer than rare these days, and he always takes the time to ask if we need anything whether on the way or leaving to get something. A+++++ We dont hire anyone but Handyland around the house. They are the cheapest but when you've been doing this as long as I have, you learn very quickly that you mostly will get what you pay for"

"Sadly one of the sloppiest contractors I've ever hired. We had our existing hardwood floors refinished and carpet replaced with hardwood in 3 rooms. It was a very large project, almost 2000 square feet that they finished in 4 days. Then spent an entire next day fixing mistakes. Mistakes like nails in the middle of the floor that was just refinished, many finishing nails left hanging in trim, stain can rings left in multiple places, improper sanding, and leaving areas looking worse than before they started. Mike told me "stop kneeling on the floor because your'e going to keep finding more things wrong." Watch your invoices too. We had two bundles of wood returned because they didn't need them but instead of a credit, Mike charged me for the wood until I caught his mistake. Save yourself the headache and frustration and go with a different contrractor who isn't rushing to get on to the next job and takes pride in the work."
