"The Shinn Group did a great job! I needed a roof on a new wing on my home and decided to replace the existing roof as well. Management was quick to send the estimator to survey the job explain the plan for my particular roof style and send a quote. They showed up on time in the morning and as the work progressed the found deficiencies on the old roof. After a short discussion we agreed to replace the worn structure. They also installed new protective boots on the plumbing vents, flashed the elevation changes and chimney. They’re very knowledgeable and equipped with the materials needed so it didn’t slow the work down. The were fast, efficient and the rates are very reasonable. My roof looks great! The Shinn Group offers a 5 year warranty and the suggested material manufacturer (GAF) gives a much longer for defects, blow offs and algae. I recommend the The Shinn Group for any roof work. Either new, repairs or reroof. They trustworthy, prompt and the rates are good. Their communication was outstanding. We are very pleased with the quality and craftsmanship."

"Very impressed with responsiveness, professionalism, technology, and value provided by Gunner Roofing. The copper flashing was pulling away from around my chimney and looked like it was in need of repair or replacement. I had previously worked with another well reviewed roofing company on Angie's List that missed my scheduled appointment to examine my chimney flashing. So I was very pleased when Andrew from Gunner showed up exactly when promised, and I was quite fascinated with his use of a drone to take precise aerial photographs of the work to be performed from all angles - a rather tech savvy approach. Gunner provided a detailed estimate within hours, that was only 1/3 the cost of the estimate I ultimately received from that other roofer. Gunner Roofing completed the work on time, and did a very satisfactory job. This was a relatively modest project, but based on my experience, I hope to use Gunner Roofing when it comes time to redo my entire roof."

These guys are it they are on top of it and I had a difficult designed house to do but they absolutely nailed it. I know not everyone can get 5 stars but I know why they have that rating. They had good communication and their crew was super efficient and paid attention to detail. They replaced a lot of wood on our roof and chimney and went the extra mile to do things we didn't even ask .... that's a company passionate about their craft which it showed in the final product. Although I left a message on the first call, I was called back in a timely manner ( unlike the other contractors that I called ). I had to delay my decision the job for a bit from the time of the original call and in that time there was a nice, not pushy,follow up call. "Came the day after my phone call. Inspected the roof, fully explained what was needed and documented with pictures. Gave quote the same day, repaired areas of leak until work could be started. Arrived on time , very courteous and professional crew. Completed job and cleaned area. No damage or debris was anywhere to be found. Dyllon made sure things were done correctly, I would highly recommend his company for all roofing needs"

"The quote wasn?t a detailed proposal, it was just a ballpark. I chose another company because he was the only one that gave me an item-by-item proposal. They were okay but he gave me a proposal without anything broken down which, unfortunately, seems to be the norm. Frankly, they didn?t impress me one way or the other and they were considerably more expensive than the company I used. Their responsiveness was okay but it was incomplete."

"I contacted John Santana, of Choice Home Repair, explained what I needed done and setup an appointment with him to come and look at the jobsite and to discuss in further detail what is required to accomplish what I wanted. John arrived at the appointed time, he thoroughly assessed the area to be worked on, brought to light some areas of concern and made some suggestions on how he would go about to resolve these issues. He also took the time to explain why they needed to be considered. Afterwards, John worked up an estimate, in a reasonable period of time. I thought his price was more than fair and had him draw up a contract. After singing off, I fronted him the funds for materials that needed to be special ordered. When John began the job he partitioned off the area to minimize dust and he cleaned up at the end of the day. Being that this job was done in December, I allowed John to setup in our heated garage where he could work. Here too he partitioned off that area to minimize the dust from his saws and other tools needed for the job. John Santana is a very conscientious, honest, and polite professional that does high quality work. He goes beyond the norm so that in the end everything about the job is solid and looks great. I highly recommend John for any home improvement work needed and would definitely hire him again. Actually, I’ve already discussed with him about the next project I will be doing."
