From the first time I met with Chris and gave him my vision of what I wanted, there was one obstacle in my yard, but Chris came up with a solution to work around that. A few days later, Jimmy showed up to take pictures and measurements and explained to me everything that would take place. Little did they know at the time, my neighbor approves permits for the town and she expressed how professional they were and everything was in order and she never had to reach back out to them. On the first day the crew worked through the rain until about 3pm when the rain just became too much. The next day was a complete washout, out of their control, so no work could be performed. However, the next two days the crew worked late into the day to finish. They power washed the deck and cleaned up the yard whereas you could never tell that a work crew had been there. "Replaced both house and detached garage roofs. This was not an insurance claim. Sales rep: Pat I interviewed three separate contractors, so why did I choose Homelife? 1. Overall - their cost beat the other two contractors; in one case by $3k and the other by $4K. I broke down the components between the contractors to determine which package gave me the most bang for the buck. 2. I chose GAF products. Ridge vents, edge vents etc. You may not be aware, but here is a base, Silver and Gold levels which have corresponding cost levels. GAF has a Roof to Troops program, which was not mentioned by Homlife; I found out by their competitor and reviewing the GAF product's on line. While it is only $250, its money back into my pocket. The weather kept pushing back my removal/installation date, which is no real surprise. 50 linear foot of board was required to repair damaged roof. I had already known that it would possibly be in this range, from my attic inspection I had conducted. Parts offload/delivery was an issue due to power lines, but the shingles and remainder of items were delivered prior to the work. In all, the work commenced around 0700ish and completed around 5pm. No lawn damage. Clean up was good, I only found two nails, which from my view is outstanding. And the roof looks great :)"
