"When American Jewel installed the door I gave them A grades as I thought they did an excellent job.  But after using the door for a few weeks I noticed the dead bolt didn't close completely, but only about 2/3, and also noticed the screen door was no longer aligned properly, so although it closed and looked right, the door was slightly off and it would no longer lock.  I called American Jewel and they scheduled the installer to return and make the minor corrections.  The installer did not show up.  When I called American Jewel again, they did not return my calls. I complained to Angie's List, and via their complaint resolution process American Jewel contacted me.  They were very apologetic and attributed it to a mix up, accepted responsibility and sent the installer to my home to make the minor corrections.  I would use American Jewel again, despite this hiccup, as my wife and I like the door they installed, feel we received excellent value, and ultimately American Jewel followed through on the minor problems I described and corrected them all."

"This company was everything I could have wanted and more. It began with Ray coming out to the property, personally. He explained everything that was needed to get my garage door up and running after my neighbor crashed into it. He listened well then explained what needed to be done. It was like talking to a good friend you trust. He was straight forward and the price was RIGHT!!! They arrived on time and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Our salesperson, Bill was a great help in helping us pick the right style of cabinets and the size that fit into the spaces we had.
