"Clee and his painting crew were the very best at everything! We hired them to paint the interior of our large home and couldn’t be happier with the results. The crews were professional, respectful, always cleaned up after themselves. They were meticulous in getting every line and corner perfect, even in the coiffed ceilings. The price was perfect, the timing was perfect, and the final product remains beautiful! We have recommended this company to many of our friends and even hired them again for a smaller project. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a clean, professional, timely, and budget friendly painting crew!"

"All-Pro Painting was, by far, the best! From the initial meeting with Chad, who explained the entire process and what to expect, to the crew who did the work, it was all amazing. Highly recommend them!"

"We’ve used International Painting several times over the years and they always deliver excellent, high quality results on time and on budget. Last week they power washed our house, deck, and driveway; painted the foundation; stained the deck; resealed the driveway; and repainted front entrance. We’re delighted that our 30-year old home looks brand new! Fermin and his team are prompt, polite, and professional. Fermin shared his insurance without asking and the team cleaned up every day. We’re extremely happy and will use International Painting again in the future for some interior work."

"John did a great job staining my fence. He power washed and worked around weather to get a day when it was warm enough and fence was completely dry. He watched how the wood absorbed the stain and sprayed a second coat when needed. Made my 6 year old fence look like new again. He was careful not to overspray on house and masked all hardware. Will definitely hire again on future projects."

"We had multiple damaged walls that needed to be repaired and painted. We also had ceilings in three rooms that had stained areas not related to leaks. Patrick was able to color match the problem areas and repaint them. He also scraped one room’s ceiling, sanded it and repainted it. He was efficient and came as promised even though the weather was bad. I was very pleased with his work and will hire him again in the future."

"Jeremy from Grateful Painting stained the deck of our screen porch. Not only did he give us a reasonable estimate, he did a professional job. Would not hesitate to hire him again for other home painting projects."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Clayton, NC

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
