"Serge and his crew did a very thorough and professional job in their demolition and removal of my badly-rotted and leaking rubber roof on a back addition of my house. They also fixed a couple of joist/rafters to solidify the roof frame, and then they installed new plywood decking along with an insulated layer prior to finishing with a new rubber surface. All debris was cleaned up from the job, and I'm very happy with the outstanding job they did. The crew arrived on schedule, and did all of their work in a timely and safe manner. "Earlier this summer Home Evolution replaced our roof. Their sales team was super helpful and went over all options (roofing materials, costs and timing). They were very upfront with what was included and what was not. Our roof had years of old water damage that had been patched at some point before we purchased the home, which lead to structural damage around our chimney that needed to be addressed (more on that later). We have a large ranch style home so there is a lot of square footage on our roof. The crew came out early on the morning they said they would and got right to work on stripping the roof. They draped tarps from the roof to minimize the amount of nails and debris that fell on our lawn and around our bushes, which was nice. As the roof was being stripped the foreman (Russ) and the framer they sent out began to assess the old water damage and developed a plan of attack. The framer did a real nice job to stabilize our massive chimney and tie everything into the existing roof structure (most of which was included in the estimate but they found another little issue while they were in there the framer took care of that too at no additional charge). While the framer was carrying out his repair work the foreman and another guy worked on replacing the three skylights in our house. I was happy to see they used Velux skylights, which I had heard from numerous friends are a top quality skylight. In fact, all of the materials they use are top quality and when presented with the option, we opted for the better quality underlayment, shingles and roof cap system - we figured we weren't going to do this again anytime soon so we might as well do this right. They also use the better plumbing vent boots as standard, which I was happy to see. I was also happy to see the time and attention the foreman took when installing the new flashing around our chimney. He really went the extra mile to 1) make sure it looked really nice and 2) make sure we would not have any water penetration/damage around the chimney that had occurred on the old roof. I guess I should add that we live on a hillside and because the house is a ranch, you can see the entire roof from different parts of our property so the aesthetics was important and these guys definitely delivered - the 30 year architectural shingles and the flashing work around the chimney really are nice to look at. Usually when you get a roof done, its not like redoing a kitchen or bathroom where you get to "enjoy" the redone space, its more of a necessity than a luxury but in our case its a little of both. The color of the shingles is really nice too, it compliments the house and the property nicely - I was really surprised at the number of color options they could order. The roof install went smooth and easy, in fact, the entire operation did. You could tell that this is what these guys do every day just by the efficiency and precision of the whole job. I would definitely recommend Home Evolution and I have recommended them to a few people I know who were looking to have their roof done."

"Andre did a full roof replacement for me and did an amazing job. I wasn't going to use Home Solutions at first since it is a small company, but Andre sold me through his enthusiasm for the project, extensive roofing experience, and dedication to exceeding my expectations. In addition to the great customer service and passion, the cost estimate was much lower than two other roofing estimates I got. Andre answered many questions from me, and was always available through calls or text while I was making the hiring decision. Andre has a lot of experience in this area and I knew I could trust him to do an excellent job on replacing my roof. Andre is a hard worker - he was the first person at my house on the day of the job and the last to leave. He supervised the entire project, and addressed every concern I had as the project progressed. I can only think of two minor suggestions for improvement, which would be to take a little more care with the bushes around the house, and to give a better warning of the possibility of getting some debris in the attic space, but neither of these things was a big deal. I truly feel that I got all the benefits of a large and established roofing company, but with the price and customer service dedication of a small company. Andre has even followed up with me several times since the job to make sure that I am satisfied, and I am already thinking of hiring him for another project. "In June, 2017 Perfection Roofing took a day and half to remove our 30 year old roof and replace it new, beautiful blue and gray asphalt singles on both the home and garage. A rubber roof was replaced on the back of the home, too. Also, they installed an anti-bird guard on the chimney and replace the base of chimney flashing. The experienced and knowledgeable owner was a pleasure to work with and the onsite workers did a professional job."

"Replacement of roof with membrane and asphalt. We do not recommend this company.   We retained Fredi to replace our roof which had a slow leak into the 3-story brownstone house.   The job was completed, but on day 2 most of the crew worked on another job. This meant our roof completion took one week rather then the estimated 2 days.  Also, we had one very unhappy neighbor who had to clean up our roof debris in front of his home because Fredi and crew did not take care of it.   Fredi was paid fully and told us that the roof was done and wouldn’t leak anymore (as was guaranteed in the contract for 10 years).  His crew removed debris and tools and We were told everything was perfect.  There was a persistent petroleum smell, which has continued to pervade the upper floors whenever the temperature reaches 90 degrees.   We had several episodes of rain shortly after completion and all seemed fine. But about 2 weeks later, we had a strong rain storm and water soon was gushing through our upper floor ceiling and reaching the floor one story below.  We called Fredi.  We inspected the attic and discovered water gushing through the new roof and pooling in several spots on the attic floor.  Fredi arrived an hour later with 2 of his workers. After about 45 minutes on our roof, Fredi said he was “embarrassed” that when his crew closed the hatch at completion of their work, they somehow disrupted the seal or membrane, allowing rain water to come into the attic via the hatch. This allowed the rain to soak our attic, plaster walls and floors.   Also, we discovered multiple cigarette butts crushed out on our very old wooden attic floor – a few feet under the new, flammable roof.  These butts were surrounded by dirty boot prints and were not present before or during the roof job.  We showed him the cigarette butts and told him that he needed to find out who smoked Marlboro cigarettes in our flammable attic and then stubbed them out in our home. Fredi insisted the cIgarettes were not from his workers.   The key reason for discouraging hire of Fredi is that he did not adequately communicate to us once the work began and he was absent during much of the job, despite prior assurances that he would oversee every part of the job.  His crew of about 5 men was mostly hard-working and very polite but had minimal communication skills and questionable experience.  The lack of supervision was disturbing and contrary to what were told to expect."
