"Drew was professional, courteous, and punctual. He arrived ahead of time for both the bid and the actual work. He and his crew were knowledgeable, fast, careful, and left the site immaculate. Our patio hedges and pine tree look great and are ready for the winter."

Customers say: True professional

"Have been using New Leaf Landscaping for several years and they do a great job. Besides grasscutting and edging they cleaned out planting beds of weeds and small brush and put in new mulch. After they clean up I can't tell they were here. Definitely recommend to anyone!!"

"Chris is a hard worker and has varied skills in both indoor and outdoor services. He removed cabinets and an island and then drywalled the area. Once the work was completed, I asked him to assemble a closet kit and fix broken doors. He did an excellent job, and I will be hiring him again to fix my deck."

Small jobs welcome

"They came in the winter and got rid of three nuisance trees I had in my yard. Very good work and the workers were nice. If I had more trees I would hire them."

FAQs for landscape soil, sand, mulch and rock delivery projects in Clinton Township, MI

Topsoil packs your garden with the nutrients plants crave, improves soil structure, and lets water drain at just the right pace. The result is a welcoming planting bed that makes routine chores—like weeding and aerating—far easier. In short, quality topsoil boosts fertility, builds stronger root systems, and keeps your landscape looking vibrant season after season.

If you’re tackling a large area and have room to store extra soil, bulk delivery almost always wins on price. Bags cost more per cubic yard but arrive clean, sealed, and easy to haul around tight spaces or raised beds. Match the option to your square footage, storage space, and muscle power, and you’ll find the most cost-effective and hassle-free choice for your project.

First, measure the square footage you want to cover, then decide on a layer—most gardens thrive with 4 to 8 inches of fresh topsoil. A 40-pound bag spreads over 12 square feet at a depth of one inch. Multiply your area by the desired depth (in inches), divide by 12, and you’ll know exactly how many bags to load in the cart. Using this quick formula guarantees even coverage and a healthy, vibrant garden bed.
