"Indiana Crawl Space repair recommended a perimeter drainage system along with a new sump pump and basin. They did not try to pressure me to buy something I didn't need, but rather broke down the quote into what was needed to solve the immediate problem (drainage system and pump), along with some optional future upgrades I could consider and/or save up for (encapsulation and dehumidifier). I had three estimates done for the same work, and this was by far the most affordable. Once I decided to move forward with the drainage system, sump pump, and basin, they were able to be onsite quickly and finished the job in less than two days. They also cleaned out the insulation mess, screened off the vents to keep the animals out, and ran a fresh new vapor barrier. Since the work has been completed, it has been raining for several consecutive days causing a lot of flooding in the area. I keep peaking in my crawlspace. It’s still dry!"

Any repairman beginning additional repairs without asking really rubs me the wrong way and leads to a "B" rating at best and a "No" on hiring again. Learn from my mistake: make certain that you do your research on pricing and agree on a price range and scope of work with Geiler (or anyone, for that matter) before they begin the work."
