"The service provided by Ed Davis and his crew was very good. Ed gave me a comprehensive, thorough estimate. He was good at explaining paint choices, coverage to be expected per gallon, and how much paint he would leave me for future touch ups. His crew (Jesse and Chris) worked well together: they masked off areas to prevent overspray, and powerwashed my house beforehand. They worked with me on areas I noted for caulking, and even took a few hits from some gutter-dwelling wasps. The final finish is beautiful. I'm very pleased with their work."

Hello, I have been in the trades for over 10 years now. I started with general construction moved into trim carpenter/ cabinet builder. I am now an electrician but enjoy woodworking in my shop. I am on here to help people with my acquired skills. I am punctual, Honest and strive to provide the best quality work.

I work for JCJ Contracting as a laborer and do general construction jobs spanning from basic concrete work, tile installations in bathrooms/kitchens, cabinet installations, setting doors, windows, finish trim installation, and hardwood flooring. This includes basic plumbing and electrical to prepare rental properties as well. \n\nI'm slowly accruing the tools I need to do jobs like these and want to network as much as I can. "Mr. Murphy promptly called us back after our initial call. Provided a timely free estimate of work to be done. Once hired, he provided us with critical feedback regarding the plan for the basement remodel. He had a lot of great suggestions and ideas for our new living space. He also was very accomodating to our last minute changes to the plan. He worked very hard to meet our finish deadline- which we appreciated because it was right before the Christmas holidays. He was very easy going, hard working, and particular to his craft. Mr. Murphy had different crews of men who helped him depending on the work to be done. "There wasn’t one thing that we didn’t enjoy and appreciate about hiring Halm & Perkins to do a complete renovation of our East Lansing condo. Joe and Lisa and their entire team were very professional and thoughtful and went above and beyond to help us with every detail. Originally, we were anxious about being able to find people that we could trust to create a design and suggest ideas that would work best for us and the space. From the first interview meeting Joe & Lisa our fears were assuaged and we liked them immediately. They made the entire process from start to finish easy. Both Joe and Lisa even got my husband’s quirky sense of humor and ran with it, keeping us all laughing. We did not expect to have so much fun with a renovation! We appreciated how well they listened to our ideas and questions and they never let us feel that anything we thought or asked was silly or stupid, communicating often with us via text, calls or emails and directing us to websites for ideas or clarification as needed. We asked for more storage space and they made sure we had that in every room with ways we could not have thought up ourselves. We wanted more light in the combined kitchen-living area and they exceeded our expectations in providing that in new ways. We had some dreams we weren’t sure were feasible, like making room for a two person jacuzzi tub and they made it happen, thanks to Joe’s expertise and Lisa’s design ideas. When they didn’t know the answers they had experts to consult. I often felt like we were on an episode of HGTV’s “Fixer Upper” with Chip & Joanna Gaines.
