"Want the job done right hire Mr. Hernandez. He is very knowledgeable about the work he does and definitely a person who can be trusted. Mr. Hernandez along with his Team arrived to do the work on the day he told me he would, they resurfaced my driveway, which they completed same day. Driveway looks great! I would not hesitate hiring him again for any concrete work I need done."

Customers say: Quick response

"We are very satisfied not only with the work completed, but also with the interactions with everyone at M2I. We have had them do several projects for us. They have poured a foundation for a steel standalone garage, a walkway, an extension to an existing concrete front porch and a pool pad. In addition, they helped us fix the mess created by another excavation contractor. They take pride in the work they do and want their customers to be completely satisfied. We will call them for any future needs and HIGHLY recommend them!!"

"I had MadeWell Concrete replace my 475 foot concrete driveway in May of this year, 2019. I delayed rating their work because concrete can look good but only time is the best measure of a quality installation. They did a great job of removing the old (39 year old) concrete driveway and preparing the driveway bed for the pouring of the new driveway. They poured the new driveway according to their stated schedule and was finished and gone within 3 days. The new concrete driveway has performed splendidly with no evidence of cracking. One concern that I asked them to address with replacing the old driveway was the slope of the driveway at the entry point at the street. I had experienced my car scraping on the bottom frame due to the rounding of the driveway slope. They changed the slope and resolved the problem and I ve had no recurrence of that since. Alex, MadeWell s sales rep, did a great job of presenting their plan of replacement and his promises and assurances were kept. I would use them again without hesitancy."

"AMAZING! Simply one of the best experiences I’ve had with a company and their product! The sales team were thorough and very attentive. They had no problem answering every question and concern I brought up. The install team was thorough, efficient, and professional! Another plus was the follow up call by my original salesman ensuring I was satisfied with the product. If there were 10 stars they would get my vote!"

"Very professional! They knew I wanted to use my new 24'x24'' patio for our 4th of July bar-b-que in less than two weeks. They were able to get the entire job finished within three days of hiring them online! They cleaned up after themselves and used respectful caution and care throughout the job. Very friendly and efficient, they work as a team to get the job done right! I am very picky to work for but have nothing but positives to say about the job they did for us!!! Thanks to Mike and his team!!"

FAQs for concrete driveways & floors installation projects in College Grove, TN

Whether terrazzo is better than porcelain or ceramic tiles for a kitchen or bathroom floor depends on your design preference. Terrazzo can last a long time, but so can a properly installed ceramic tile floor. According to the National Association of Home Builders, the lifespan of a ceramic tile floor is 75 to 100 years, similar to terrazzo.

You should clean terrazzo floors like you would marble, even if there’s no marble in the aggregate. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the polished surface, and steer clear of acidic cleaners like vinegar, which can damage the surface. Instead, use plain water or a neutral cleaner to mop the floor. Then, use a wet vac or squeegee to remove the dirty water. Regular buffing with a soft cloth can help you maintain the shine.

Terrazzo is made by mixing an aggregate like glass or stone with a binder like cement or epoxy. The mix is made and poured into the prepared space you designate. Alternatively, you can purchase prefabricated terrazzo tiles, which consist of similar materials. They’re poured into a mold and cured before installation.

You can add radiant heating under a terrazzo floor, which is an excellent way to combat the naturally cold surface of terrazzo floors. Installing radiant heating costs $1,653 to $6,656. You'll want to install the heating elements under the thin-set epoxy because the layer is thin enough for the warmth to conduct through the floor.

Making your own terrazzo can be a tricky DIY project. The exact mix takes a blend of art and skill to create and requires the expertise of a terrazzo pro. The wrong blend could crack, peel, or break easily, requiring expensive repairs. Finishing and polishing the floor also requires previous experience to achieve a professional appearance. Expect to pay between $200 and $2,500 for the cost of restoring and polishing floors.

Terrazzo flooring is eco-friendly because it is crafted using recycled materials such as glass, marble, and polished metal, and its epoxy binder emits no VOCs once cured. This sustainable manufacturing approach minimizes waste and supports green building practices. Homeowners gain an attractive flooring option, contributing to healthier indoor air quality and environmental conservation.
