"I have utilized CCS for bi-weekly household cleaning service for the last two years and am very satisfied with the job they do. Normal cleaning includes vacuuming, dusting, washing floors, making beds and tidying up the kids bedrooms, cleaning bathrooms, and the kitchen. The house always looks and smells wonderful after they are finished. On occasion I have left a change of sheets or shower curtain out and they will make the swap for me. My mother-in-law is typically home when they come but if she is out I’ve left a key for them to let themselves in and that works out perfectly. They show up on the day they say they will and I’ve not had any issues with things being broken, missing, or things not being cleaned that should have been. I highly recommend giving them a try!"

"Fantastic job! Mike was a pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond my expectations. My cousin visited from out of state and questioned if I had new siding installed. I said that it was the work of an awesome power washer (Mike). Thank you very much for a reasonable price for a wonderful job. I couldnâ t be more pleased."

FAQs for post construction clean up projects in Collinsville, CT

Plan on one hour of cleaning for every 100 to 200 square feet. That means a two-to-four-person crew will spend eight to 12 hours on a full-size home.

Your pro will walk the space first, size it up, and give you a more precise timeline to be sure every lofty ceiling, baseboard, and tight corner gets the same white-glove attention.

Cleaning fine dust after construction requires a combined approach of detailed dusting and high‐powered vacuuming. Begin by wiping high surfaces such as ceiling fans, walls, window sills, and countertops to eliminate deposited particles. Next, vacuum all floors, carpets, and hard surfaces and mop afterward to remove residual dust. Finally, clean HVAC returns, supply vents, and replace filters to ensure a completely dust‐free environment.

You’ll need safety gear and heavy-duty tools. At minimum, you should wear a respirator, eye protection, and work gloves. Then, bring in a HEPA-filter shop vac, wet mops, microfiber cloths, and a carpet shampooer to lift dust from every surface.

Pros also keep extra filters and trash bags on hand so they can swap them out mid-job and keep the cleanup running smoothly from start to finish.

Book your post-construction cleanup for one to two days after the last tool leaves the site. That 24- to 48-hour buffer lets dust settle so the crew can snag every speck in one visit.

Touch base with your contractor before you lock in a date; if their punch-list slips, you’ll want to shift the cleaning slot to avoid costly rescheduling and make sure the house is truly move-in ready.
