"Jose, Rigo, and the rest of the team at Forest were great! Very professional. They communicated throughout the entire process, did excellent work, and took the extra time at the end of the project to make sure everything was cleaned up. I would highly recommend the team at Forest for any type of landscape project!"

"Overall, it went well. They came into the middle of a project and brought it to completion. The team was professional, timely, and consulted with me as they installed the wall, i.e. location of boulders. We have had many compliments on it and look forward to working on plantings in the spring. The two little issues are that the grass came in a bit thin (we were going into fall) and the muddy areas above the wall. A lot of the excavating had been done by someone else. Although All Pro took three dump trucks away, it wasnt' quite enough. Our soil has a lot of clay in it, which is very muddy. All in all, the did a great job and i would hire them again."

"Excellent responsiveness from the start. After contacting, Oscar came out first thing in the next morning, provided a complete quote within a few hours, and we were able to schedule the services immediately when another job finished early. The service was very professional & thorough and completed in a timely manner. We found out they can provide a broad array of services and we will be working with them in the future for backflow testing and tree trimming."

"Brian from Shannon Landscaping  came out and proposed a system of a French Drain for our yard to eliminate the lake in our yard from rain run off. The design was very thorough and exactly what we were looking for. The crew showed up exactly when they were suppose to and were able to finish in a day, they left everything very clean and back to it original condition. With all the Oregon rain this week it is working very well, I have no standing water any more. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

"NW Outdoor Living and Landscapes recently completed a backyard and patio project at our home in Northwest Portland. We wanted to take the time to let you know how happy we are with the amazing work the team did and the excellent customer service we received. The project was fairly extensive; including replacing and extending the existing patio, renovating our pond and water feature, upgrading the retaining wall, screening our hot tub and adding outdoor lighting. From start to finish we really felt that you and your team provided excellent service. You presented us with a clear timeline and budget for the project and this was exactly what was delivered. Throughout the process, we felt that everyone remained very responsive, open to our questions and flexible with minor changes. The project finished on time and the quality of work was really great. We are very excited about the results and cannot wait to begin putting the area to use this summer with friends and family. Thank you to you and your awesome team and we will certainly spread the positive word about your company."

"Brett Kacalek of Earthworks did the original landscape design for our new home about 5 years ago. They also did the basic installation and have done one or two other smaller projects for me in the past. When I decided I needed the stairs installed, there was no hesitation for me about whom to call. Brett came out and immediately understood the "feel" I was after for the project. He provided a complete written bid and I signed a contract. The only "down side" to working with Earthworks is that they're busy, so it can sometimes take quite a while for them to be able to schedule a project, plus they're dependent on the weather, too. However, I received a call a day or two before they were ready to begin work. Brett came out at the beginning to instruct the crew (and ended up putting one of the staircases in a slightly different place than we'd originally planned, which worked out well). The project took two or three days, and the crew did an excellent job. The finished result is perfect. They disturbed a minimum of landscape near the project and they cleaned up after themselves thoroughly."

"I had to pay extra for debris removal that should have been made clear at the time of purchase.  Work done was okay, I just don't think I got what I paid for compared to other landscaping companies I have used.

"We needed out front yard landscaped, but we were on a budget. The owner met with us and worked within our budget to create what is now a wonderful looking front yard. From the first phone call to completion of the project took about two weeks. They are professional, courteous and I would definitely work with them again, and recommend to friends."

"On a friends recommendation I picked CM Landscape to do a retaining wall and to install a bubbler water feature in my garden. The project turned out great and was completed on time. The owner of the company seemed to have a lot of experience and creative solutions to making my yard considerably more beautiful. Very happy with his work."

"The work, once the guys arrived, was done quickly and I was very grateful that they hauled all the yard waste away. Everyone I encountered was professional and polite, and very nice to work with. I would have been happy to contract for regular service with Earthview Lawncare, but they were no longer going to be working in my area. The only problem I had was with scheduling. I had scheduled for a day in early April, but no one showed up or called. I rescheduled for a Saturday in early May and, again, no one showed up. On Sunday, the crew arrived and performed the work as requested. I totally understand that this sort of work can go over schedule, or be held off by rain, but communication is essential. A phone call would have gone a long way towards getting an unqualified A review.
