"We reached out to Copper Canyon when in need of a few services for our backyard project. We had a concrete basketball court slab removed, a small tree removed, a drain installed, our backyard area prepped for grass, sod installed, and seed planting. Colin came out and was very respectful of what we were looking to do, we did not feel pressured or pushed in any way. We selected them for the job and their communication was effective and timely leading up to the day(s) of the job. During the work, the crew was polite and cleaned up after themselves very well. Colin came out and helped answer all questions we had- before, during, and after the job was done. The work came out great, and we would certainly use them again for future needs. We are appreciative of their help and the respect we were shown throughout the process."

"I called Richard one day and he was there the following day with his crew, ready to work. I hired him to do some landscaping in my front yard. I told him that I needed selections that would be low maintenance and he delivered on my request. He removed and replaced all of the bushes, planted some flowers, added mulch and integrated some beautiful rocks as accents. I hired him to do some landscaping in my backyard a few weeks later. I let him run with his vision to create something nice. I love it! He also went the extra mile during both projects. He noticed that I had some bare spots in my lawn so he seeded the areas. When he returned for the second project and saw that the areas still needed some help, he suggested using some sod. It made a huge difference. I was very pleased with both projects. Richard is very personable and very passionate about his work. I would hire him again."

"Extremely well. The owner and his employees were considerate and always concerned with our property and that of our neighbor. In a relatively small space  their creative ideas and use of colors and patterns turned an eyesore into a place we can enjoy and share with family and friends. The project was completed in four days and a pool that was in close proximity was as pristine as the day the project started. The work is hard and tedious and we greatly appreciate their patience in answering our questions and keeping us informed on their progress, and what was coming next. Good folks, fun to be around. It took us a while to find Grounds <br /> Quality Lawn Care and it was worth the wait. <br />"

"We worked with Leslie at Capehart to design a landscaping plan for a "blank canvas" yard at our home. Our project included a request for trees, plants, and a deck/patio. Capehart did a great job listening to our objectives, and designing a plan that incorporated those preferences with a professional perspective that took into consideration creativity and efficient use of the land. Leslie was extremely patient with us landscaping novices as we took a couple of months to come to a final decision on design, asking lots of questions along the way. And once we gave them the green light, Capehart was installing trees just a few days later. One month in, we are still happy with the planting and design. We also completed a deck and patio design with Capehart that we have not installed yet, but are very happy with and plan to install in the future. We spoke with several local landscapers to get quotes and Capehart was generally competitive on the tree planting, and more expensive on the patio installation. I will note that in speaking with a handful of vendors, Capehart always yielded rave reviews from on integrity, professionalism, and quality of work. I would certainly recommend Capehart for a high-quality lanscaping project."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Columbus, IN

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
