"The first rep, Josh, left the company w/o turning in my order. When Boo Steen was new owner, he went over order to correct the problem. Great customer service by him and his installer."

"Iwent into D&D a few months ago to discuss replacing my old heat pumps. The owner, Donald Kampfhenkel, spent close to an hour with me discussing the different Trane models so I could get a feel for the costs versus the advantages of one model vs. another. He then followed me home to my house. We walked though my home and climbed into the attic to take a look at the old duct work. It seems that the original installer (not D&D) had used an inadequate supply air grill size for the tonnage of the heat pump. He gave me a written estimate which seemed to be fair and in line with what a family member of mine had paid in the last year for a similar installation. - About a month later one of my old units went out. I wasn't quite ready to do the big project of replacing both units, so I thought this would be a good test to see how D&D did with a service call. They showed up promptly, found the issue as a bad start capacitor, and replaced it. The technician put an ammeter on the supply wires and showed my that due to the age of the compressor, it was taking an excessive amount of amperage to start up. He said the new capacitor would keep it functional awhile longer, but that it was reaching the end of its life and it would be just a matter of time before the new capacitor would also fail due to the excessive load. I was impressed with his promptness and skill and appreciated his explanation and demonstration of what he found. -After the first of the year I decided to proceed with this project, so I went back to D&D on Monday January 25. He spent about 15 minutes answering my final questions and then said that he could do the installation on Thursday and Friday. - On Thursday morning at 8:00 am, about 30 minutes before he was supposed to start, I called him and asked if I could upgrade the heat pump from XR17 to an XL18i. I was expecting him to say it was too late but instead he said, we'll put the XR17 on the truck and go to San Antonio and exchange them for two XL18i this morning, no problem. About 30 minutes later three trucks and a crew of six pulled up and starting removing the old AC systems and began the duct work repairs. - That night it was going to be below freezing, but the crew told us they would get the air handler for the bedroom, along with the duct work, so we could use the electrical heat during the night. They did this which saved us going to a hotel or buying a space heater. By mid-afternoon on Friday both systems were functional and the project was mostly completed. There were a few short visits the following week to fine-tune some details. - All in all, I'm very pleased with D&D Mechanical in pricing, responsiveness, quality, etc. I'm very happy with the Trane units ... they are dramatically quieter. The thermostats are incredible. I've programmed them to allow remote access from my iPhone, so when we are out of town I can actually see the temperature in my home and change the thermostat settings remotely. - Strong positive recommendation for D&D Mechanical and the Trane systems they sell and service.
"

"It went great! We found Fisher Precious Metals on Angie's List, and after googling them, we found they had very positive reviews across the web. Although it was a 45 minute drive from our home, we felt it might be worth it, and it was. We made an appointment with John via email, arrived at 11:00, and spent just over an hour in his office. He evaluated the sterling silver set we had to sell and gave us what we felt was a very fair price. He'd given us an estimate on the value of the gold coins via email, and although the price of gold had fluctuated since he'd provided the quote, the final price was very, very close to the initial quote. We were happy to learn that they will also buy jewelry, as I have a few pieces I haven't worn in a very long time. We were very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely return to their company when we have gold or silver to sell, and we're happy to recommend them to our friends. One thing to keep in mind is that sterling silver sets are basically worth the price of the silver itself. We knew that going in, so we were not disappointed and, in fact, the price we received was a little higher than we'd expected."

"The workmanship was excellent. The anchoring, structure, and trim work was strong, straight and very well made. The tie in to the existing roof was very professional and all seams were sealed. The gutters were designed and constructed to fit perfectly. These gentlemen were courteous and very respectful to me at all times. They commuted with me promptly at all stages of the project. A very pleasant experience."

"The two roofing technicians told me what they were going to do to repair my roof and set about doing their repairs without delay.
The main supervising technician also climbed up on my house roof and walked all over it to inspect it and see if there might be any other repairs necessary. Then, the technicians removed the faulty flashing which had been improperly installed by my home builder's untrained framer. Shingles which had holes in them were removed and several new asphalt shingles were installed to replace the old singles which had nail holes in them. Next, the old flashing was completely removed and new, higher grade metal flashing was installed to replace the old flashing. Finally, new sealant was applied to make sure that the repaired roof was completely water proof.
After the repair work was done, the supervising roof technician showed me exactly what had been done with photos that he had taken with his tablet camera. He said if any more leakage occurred, they would return to take care of it, but he believed that the leak was effectively repaired. The very next day, we had another hard rain storm in the La Grange, TX, Fayette County area, and my repaired roof no longer leaked into the sheet rock ceiling or into the window frames of my breakfast room bay window. I'm very satisfied with the work done by Vincent's Roofing.
I wish I had called them sooner rather than waiting for the roofer who put the original roof on my house two and a half years ago.
That roofer refused to back up his own work, and his delay had made the damage from the roof leak even worse. However, Vincent's Roofing did a good job, and I would call them again. I would also recommend them to anyone needing roof repairs or a new roof installation.
"
