"We purchased our vacation home just over a year ago and decided to have the system serviced.  We received a card in the mail at home from Air Experts that said it was time for our annual maintenance.  We could not recall the name of the installer & service provider that was on our system in FL & we were 1500 miles away.  I called Air Experts to confirm it was the same company (the name was very similar) and they told me that Yes, they had previously done the work on our system and we were entitled to a free check-up. <br /> Once we arrived in FL, we realized they had lied and were not the same company at all, but our appointment was scheduled and we were only there for a short time, so we decided to keep it. <br /> The person who showed up was quite young which put us off a bit.  He told us we had mold all over within our system and that our UV light needed to be moved.  He told us he also could use a machine to clean our ducts and all of this would be around $750.  We weren't happy about that and told him to just do standard maintenance.  Then he offered to do all the same work for $300, but only if we agreed to make the check out to him personally.  We knew he was scamming the system as the paperwork would show $0.00 for our free check-up, but we were concerned with the mold that was clearly visible within the HVAC system.  <br /> He was a little brash and was walking all around our house, so he wasn't very professional but he was very polite. <br /> He did the work and everything was fine - that's why I give them a C and not an F, but we knew it was a scam.  <br /> We have since had the original provider come and do an inspection, and will be buying a service package from the original provider for all future work. <br />"

"I called them the night before and they offered to come out that night or the next day late in the afternoon. I chose to wait the next day. The next day, in the morning, a tech called me and said he was nearby and could come at that moment. I agreed and he was at my doorsteps in 5 minutes. He was clean and very polite. He thoroughly tested my furnace and found the problem quickly. He explained to me the problem and repair cost. He even went outside to check the a/c to see that it was functioning properly. I am very pleased with the service I received. <br />"
