"Extremely fast service! The lady who called to schedule and then again to confirm arrival time was friendly and professional. The technician, Bobby, was friendly, no pressure, and effective. Fixed my problems efficiently and the cost was reasonable. Thank you!"

"I can say that Dyer Heating and Cooling gave <br /> an outstanding customer experience in the following ways. <br /> 1. Responsiveness-One reason that I first chose to contact Jason Dyer <br /> was the posting of his availability at 7AM along with two phone #'s and a <br /> Facebook page. While I've been nursing our main central unit for a few <br /> years not wanting to invest the money, one Monday night it finally gave <br /> out. I called Jason at 7AM, and he was at my house at 7:30AM. He found <br /> that the started had failed and patched it up to limp along for the <br /> night. <br /> 2. Communication-Jason not only clearly communicated the current <br /> problem, but he is clear spoken enough to give a sense of trust without <br /> any sales pitch at all. I understood the history of the current unit I <br /> had, and I was able to piece together what Jason described to me to make <br /> a decision on purchasing a new unit. <br /> 3. Affordability-I did not stop and compare the same model of our chosen <br /> unit against many competitors (not that we have worthy competitors in <br /> the area), but I had compared the prices over a couple of years knowing <br /> I'd have to buy a new unit one day soon. Jason also laid out different <br /> interest free financing options that his company works with partners on. <br /> I could tell that he has made an extra effort to consider every part of <br /> the process and felt comfortable that I was being treated fairly. <br /> 4. Action-After patching up the existing unit, we agreed on a new unit <br /> as part of the plan. Jason came out on a Tuesday morning, and a new unit <br /> was ordered and delivered on Wednesday. <br /> 5. Installation-During all parts of the installation, I noticed that <br /> Jason and others are careful to not destroy your yard and house in the <br /> process. By doing things like wearing covering on their shoes when they <br /> enter the home, I felt that this is a group of people that didn't just <br /> roll out of the garage to throw a wholesale unit on your house to make a <br /> quick dollar. They are very thoughtful and professional. Two installers <br /> showed up from Jason crew to do the final install. I reviewed the work <br /> to see that the power, gas, and control lines had been cleanly mounted <br /> with a nice seal between the adhesive and metal on the house. The new <br /> equipment was explained to me in a very thorough way. <br /> 6. Dependability-I can say that as they left, the most reassuring thing <br /> is that I know if I contact Jason in the future that they will come and <br /> make any issue I have and quot;rightand quot;. <br /> 7. Extras-I also saw that several extra positive things had been done. <br /> They took the time to register all the equipment for warranty with Trane <br /> such that it will ensure the 10 year warranty on the key components <br /> (this is something the consumer usually would have to do later). Also, <br /> Jason was great about communicating with a quick phone call throughout <br /> the process to keep me informed on every step. <br /> In summary, I've lived in this area my entire life with various <br /> experiences with HVAC people. Dyer Heating and Cooling has given the <br /> best customer experience that I've seen in all phases... without <br /> exception. <br /> Phillip Bryant <br />"

"they engineered the return air size wrong ......smaller than it should have been.......so it made a very loud noise......they said to just use cheap filters as they would make less noise........they did not want to do anything about it so I just paid them to add a second return and it stopped the noise immediately ......the engineering formula is all over the internet to support my complaint so it was not my opinion it was a industry fact....they are good people so I will still use them for maintainance ......I just got caught up in the system of a growing company that depends on the decisions of a person they send out....since it’s just a summer home I did not want to waste precious time going back and forth just wanted it fixed....."

"I called Coit on a Friday because we were putting our house on the market that next Monday and needed to have the carpet professionally cleaned. We scheduled an appointment for Monday morning. The two cleaners arrived right on time that Monday morning. They first asked to measure the rooms, then they gave me an estimate. After I approved the estimate they went to work on the carpet. They cleaned all the carpet in our 1200 sq ft home in less than two hours. They were very thorough about telling me what furniture not to have on the carpet shortly after the cleaning and told me to call them if I wasn't happy with how it looked when it dried. There was a place where paint had been spilled that they were not able to get up. They told me that once paint is dried there isn't much that can be done. However, after they left I was able to get the paint out of the carpet using Goo Gone. <br />"

"The coupon says the regular service call is $69 but it is only $59 so you only save $10 I felt that was misrepresented. There was a problem with the coupon only being for the one hour side even though it says Petries plumbing on it. The guy had to get authorization to use the coupon and they said for this time only. Benjamin plumbing came out. There are many companies owned by the same guy with different names.. Make sure they will honor the coupon before you begin. They were on time and very clean. Did a good job. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"That job went fine. I called them again this in the spring for a repair on my front porch which would be followed by window replacements and vinyl siding replacement. Everything was dependent on a specific timeline and one person doing his job at the appropriate time. The porch guy never showed. Neither did anybody come to check to see if he ever showed. Nobody called to check either. <br /> Finally on Friday afternoon, I called the Project Manager and told him that the guy had never shown up and informed him of my extreme displeasure. I then fired them. <br /> Saturday morning, the porch guy showed up with a bizarre story involving arrests, court dates, and Homeland Security. I was not impressed. He did not convince me to give the rest of the group a chance because I STILL needed someone to fix my porch. Furthermore, the Project Manager was as much at fault because he had not done his job in checking on the guy. <br /> iI was extremely disappointed in RRR the second time around because they did such a good job he first time. I don't know if the difference was because this wasn't an insurance job or what. However, the thought has occurred to me that I have NOT been under my house, so I really don't know if they've done the work or not. I don't know what it looks like under my house now. I'm taking their word for it that the mold is gone. I won't know until the termite guy or AC guy comes and crawls under the house. <br /> But I, in good conscience, would not recommend using them. <br />"

FAQs for air ducts & vents cleaning service projects in Cookeville, TN

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that air duct cleaning is not required unless visible issues such as mold buildup, rodent droppings, or excessive dust are present. When such conditions exist, cleaning becomes essential to protect indoor air quality and maintain HVAC efficiency. This approach minimizes potential health risks and extends the system’s life.

Air ducts must be cleaned every three to five years as required by NADCA to preserve system efficiency and indoor air quality. The EPA insists that cleaning is necessary only when significant issues such as mold, pest infestations, or heavy dust accumulation are evident. Annual inspections by a certified professional promptly address any emerging concerns.

The ideal seasons for air duct cleaning are spring and fall. Cleaning during these periods prepares your HVAC system for the demands of both winter heating and summer cooling. These seasons provide moderate weather conditions that enable efficient service completion while minimizing disruption, ensuring your system performs at its peak.

Professional air duct cleaning takes a fixed duration of two to five hours, depending on the home’s size and the complexity of the duct system. Smaller residences with standard ductwork complete the service in two hours, while larger homes with extensive ducts require up to five hours. Additional repairs may extend this duration.

To prepare for professional air duct cleaning, ensure all vents are unobstructed by moving nearby furniture and clearing pathways. Secure any pets in a safe area and confirm that your HVAC system units are easily accessible for technician inspection. Proper preparation contributes to a higher quality service outcome and prevents delays, allowing the cleaning process to proceed efficiently.
