"Project: Landscaping, Pool Coping, Concrete Pool Overlay and Fence Staining A great company from start to finish! Alex and the team are awesome, diligent to the task, hard workers and will provide you with a wonderful and satisfying product. Alex and the team are very friendly and professional. We hired THG Lawn & Landscaping to update my shabby and out of date backyard pool area and patio deck. The work entailed removing old tree plants and stump, cleaning out the surrounding pool area and installing decomposed granite â  GORGEOUS! The work also entailed coping replacement of my pool and installation of a concrete overlay and sealant on my pool deck â  BEAUTIFUL!! I was provided a quote on site and was provide detail answers to all of my questions. We did make some revisions to the project based on availability of material, but overall, the work stuck close to the quote. Work began and was completed within 3 weeks of the start; the work was done during the hot Texas summer, but the work was still done and complete on time â  the workers were amazing. Alex kept me informed of progress along the way, and I received a beautiful backyard pool area. We have received many compliments on the pool and patio area. I enjoy my pool and patio area so much now and just bask on it in the morning times with my morning coffee. "We wanted a 10' x 20' patio installed but were not sure what materials to use. The area needed leveling and there was a slope to contend with. Aaron gave pros & cons of using pavers/crushed granite vs flagstone/mortar; no hard sell for either one. He explained we would need a small retaining wall on one side of patio to deal with sloping yard. We went with flagstone/mortar as it would match existing retaining wall and steps. Aaron provided an itemized proposal and placed us on his schedule. Communication was excellent throughout the process. Once started, they were finished in a week. Clean-up was outstanding. The workmanship is second to none. Patio is perfectly level, drainage is exceptional, and the flagstone is beautifully placed. We are so fortunate to have found Tecton Stoneworks on Angi. "Mr. Blaney and his crew did a simply outstanding job with all aspects of the design and installation of a new landscape for our front and side yard. We had several project goals for a mature yard (new to us): water drainage off of our flat lot, root barrier for a large red oak; removal of overgrown plants, 3 trees, and tons of loose river rock; simplified flower bed design, stone edging for aesthetics and to reduce weeds; and plants better adapted to our property conditions. Mr. Blaney’s experience and artistry came together to address all our goals. He is a master with stone and rock! We have beautiful beds, a large patio, sidewalk, and a new front porch that is just a jewel. His crew was very reliable, experienced, fast, and just awesome masons. The work was done according to the plan we all agreed to; there were no financial surprises. Plus, it was a lot of fun working with these folks – they are so good at what they do and are passionate about the quality of their work. "We used Complete Tree Services a couple of years ago and were so impressed that we went right back to them when we needed work done. Our yard has one very large, beautiful live oak. Carlos, the owner, came to see the tree and give us a bid. A few days later, he then returned with his crew to make certain that both we and the crew had a complete understanding of all that was to be done. The work they did took the weight off of the branches that were too heavy. Also, the team worked up in the tree to thin out the overgrowth so that light comes through and wind and ice are much less likely to cause harm. They then removed the debris, put the branches through a chipper and left the yard nice and clean. Our tree is absolutely gorgeous! The fellows who came were friendly, professional and polite. I cannot imagine going anywhere else for our tree!"
