"Mr. Watts Electric provided exceptional service. Ryan responded to my bid request immediately and took the time to explain possible causes, solutions, and costs with complete transparency. His approach was informative, collaborative, and never pushy. At our scheduled appointment, he was punctual and walked me through each step as we diagnosed the issue. The problem turned out to be a burned-out electrical socket, which he repaired quickly while keeping the entire process clear and straightforward. What stood out most was Ryan’s genuine honesty and professionalism. I never felt uncertain or worried about the experience; instead, I felt confident my home was in capable hands. The overall experience resolved the problem and built real and trusted relationship. I will absolutely use Mr. Watts Electric again and highly recommend their services."

"I spoke with Brian on the phone and Steve came to check out the job. They were straight forward on what the job entailed and explained what I needed to do with Edison to move my panel. Their quote was $400 less than the other quote I got from another electrician. We scheduled the job and as told, it took 2 days. The electrical work was $2600 and stucco repair $150. Steve and his crew were all very nice, efficient and I will definitely get quotes for future jobs from Wilson Electric. The only issue that arose was the stucco guy was late, but he was finished by the time we had to leave, so didn't become a problem."

FAQs for generator repair projects in Corona, CA

In some states and municipalities, licensed and registered handypersons can change a light fixture and do minor electrical work. However, you should check with your state and local licensing boards before hiring a local handyperson. In most cases, it’s safer and more practical to hire an electrician for this job. It may cost more, but hiring a licensed electrician means they’ll get the work done to code.

Special light fixtures, known as damp-rated light fixtures, are recommended in bathrooms, particularly if they're near damp areas like showers and over the bathtub. However, in most locations, they’re not a strict requirement. For safety and longevity, damp-rated fixtures are a better choice. If you work with a lighting contractor in your area, they may be able to recommend the right kinds of fixtures for your space.

Yes, it’s possible to run a second light fixture to a switch, meaning the light switch would control more than one light fixture. Several factors can impact whether it’s possible and how much it will cost. In many cases, it may be easier and more affordable for the contractor to install independent light switches. Talk to your electrician about your idea to get their feedback.
