Walterscheids WaterFree Grass is family owned, operated, and the only synthetic turf company on the Western Slope. Leonard Walterscheid and his son Daniel Walterscheid decided to join forces to create a small business while Daniel attended college at Colorado Mesa University. Leonard wanted to team up with his son to teach him how to manage and grow a business so when Daniel graduated in spring of 2014 he could have an established business to take over. Being a Former Chicago Bear and a family continually involved in football, you could ask who has more experience on turf? After many months of research Daniel and Leonard became dealers as well as certified installers with ProGreen because of their dedication to quality products, superior service/support, and attention to detail.

"Since moving to Grand Junction I have experienced a whole different level of customer service than Iâ m gonna send to. I donâ t get responses to e-mails or phone calls, businesses say they will show up for quotes and never come, sometimes they come and look say that they will send a quote and never do, and the list goes on. But Rubenâ s Landscaping was great. He called said he would be here in 40 minutes for a quote, and he was. The quote was fair for the job needed, trimming up 2 badly damaged trees from the snow storm. Then he showed up the next day with his employee at the time he said he would. He worked quickly, cleaned up great. Super friendly! Iâ m. Having him back for more work! Thanks for great job."

"He arranged for master gardeners from CSU extension office to evaluate the trees on site. Their recommendation of removel of trees was held in high esteem. Michael called them immediately, had the evaluation within days, and we knew just what to do with the diseased trees. I highly recommend Michael's Lawn Service to anyone in SW Colorado!!! "The company was starting out and did a good job in landscaping. They were eager to do well and worked on the weekend for us. They begin irrigation to be completed on the spring."

"Professional, friendly, easy to communicate with. Admittedly, I am a extremely picky, need to have the job done the exact way I see it in my head and am not so good at putting it into words. Aaron was so sweet and patient with me and helped me translate it into a beautiful patio and walkway. He went above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommend. will hire again."
