They called me and came out to give us an estimate very quickly when no other contractor in the area would even consider the job, which is OK because I rather give my hard earned money to someone that actually cares. The job itself went smooth with no major hiccups or problems. They listened to us and gave us exactly what we wanted. They arrived to work on time, and on the days they said they were going to be here. They worked in extreme heat, and even on weekends to get our job done for us in time. They cleaned up the construction debris and did not leave any messes. Geroge, Justin, Eugene and the entire crew were a pleasure to work with. "We had an extremely bad experience with Kaufman Roofing. We had a leak in our roof, and they thought it was most likely in our custom, built-in gutter system. They said they patched it up, but then it leaked the next time it snowed. In the meantime, they gave us a $30,000 estimate to have our entire gutter system, which is only 12 years old, completely replaced. Their estimator is a real bully and a horrible person to interact with. His name is Scott Wehrmeyer. He uses scare tactics, he talks over you, he’s impolite, and in our case, he didn’t even apologize for the fact that their patch didn’t even last one rainstorm. He just used it further evidence that we need to hire them to replace relatively new gutters. He never even got up on the roof to take a look at the gutter system or used a drone to take pictures or anything. He had one guy go up on a ladder in that one spot and take one picture and then say we need the entire system replaced. We eventually got it fixed with a reputable company. We got bids from several other roofing companies. Everyone else laughed at the idea that we would have a 12-year-old custom gutter system torn out and replaced for $30,000. They may have workers that do a good job, but I found Scott to be totally untrustworthy. I have never had to hang up in the middle of a conversation with anyone in my life, but I did with him. If I owned this company, I would not want him representing me. He’s a bully, he seems to be lazy, he doesn’t listen, he didn’t apologize, he just talked right over me and tried to scare me hiring him. Literally the total opposite of what any customer would hope for."

I really appreciated how they worked with me to get my project done quickly due to my unique needs. Chet my project manager communicated early and frequently during the project, very responsive. The workmanship was very good and I would definitely use them again."

"First Dave took days to respond, then roofing was delivered to the neighbors. Roofing was delayed, and i was notified the first day. The 2nd day i heard nothing from Steve and had to call to find out. I was told the driveway would be covered with tarps and magnets would be used to pick up nails. This wasn't done and i had to pick up 100's of nails myself from driveway and all around the house and neighbors house. Front and back steps weren't covered with tarps while roofing, so one had oil stains, the other brand new composite steps had gouges, tar stains, and a broken light. Corner piece of my siding had a hole put in it. My birdbath was also broken. Roofers left garbage all over the place. A few nails and little pieces of roofing were left on the roof after they were done. The office called before the job was completed to get final papers signed, i had to tell them they aren't done yet. Long delays and poor communication, a roofing job with soffit and fascia took about a month total. Corner siding piece was finally replaced, and a couple hundred dollars was taken off the price for the broken items."

They did high quality work. They showed concern for making everything look good (and it does). To summarize, the value they provided was excellent.
