They did so very quickly to avoid any more water damage to the house interior. They even came on a Saturday with a crew of 4 to make the house weather tight again before more rain the next day. I really appreciate the fact that the roof was applied within a week of the damage and the cost was totally within the estimate of the insurance adjuster. He also made recommendations regarding the attachment of the panels to the rood that would provide more stability and leakproofing. The representative appeared to know what he was doing - much better than others, including the representative who was engaged by the roofer (who replaced our rood due to hail damage) to disconnect/connect the panels."

"The provider requested OK from Choice Warranty and he was denied. It rained last night and rain came into my home. It could have been avoided if Choice had just approved what I requested. Now, the damage will be greater than necessary. I blame Choice home warranty for my home damage. Now it will cost mote than a simple tarp could have prevented until I could get money to repair roof. The provider was great and tried his best to get something done to my roof but Choice Warranty was horrible and no help. They get a "zero" from me"

"Well, they were late.  Didn't bring a ladder,  but I have an extra that another contractor left here, so I had one they could use.  Cleaned the gutters, which required removing the  gutter covers/ leaf preventers (hah!) and then re-installing them.

Unfortunately, about 3 weeks later we had some pretty strong winds and 3 of the gutter covers blew off.  I hadn't gotten around to re-installing them when they came to install the Christmas lights, so they put them back on for me.

Also, they didn't turn the water off when they were through.  A couple weeks later the POA came by to tell me I had a water leak; well , no, the fools had left the water running.  My water bill was triple that month.  Sheesh.

So, yeah, I wouldn't have made the same mistakes if I'd done it myself, but I really don't want to be on the roof where it's a two-story drop and there's no one here to watch.  So I'll probably use these folks again, but I also know to check EVERYTHING before they leave."
