"Up through signing on, it went great - very responsive - answered all questions. While the actual quality of work appears good (except for damage to gutters, sprinklers etc - expected some) the ability to extract information was tough. Once the work crew arrived, my poor Spanish and their poor English didn't always get the point across. Had concerns and tried to determine the quality of the roof plywood (told all was good) but two sheets were replaced and no one knows where."

We got 3 different quotes, and even though Triple Crown wasn’t the cheapest, we decided to go with them because we’ve been around long enough to know that the cheapest and the best are rarely the same thing. "I sent them a message through Angie's List on a Tuesday night, had a response from them before I woke up the next morning. They met with me at lunch on Wednesday, got to work on Thursday morning and the work was completed by the time my tenant got home that evening. <br> <br>The sun room/patio area of this house I inherited, and am renting to a friend, is effectively flat. It was roofed with normal roofing materials/techniques and was leaking...probably since it was installed, but I was not made aware of the problem. <br> <br>The men who came out initially identified the problem with the old installation instantly and, without hesitation, informed me that it wasn't going to be a cheap repair. I respect this very much. I'd much rather have a contractor be up front about the cost of a repair rather than lure me in with a low-ball estimate and then triple the bill once the job is complete. The price they charged was almost precisely the amount they gave me in their initial, quick on-site review of the situation. <br> <br>Their men showed up first thing the next morning, stripping the old roof material off, replacing the damaged decking that had been ruined by the leak, and installed the proper materials for this kind of nearly-flat roof. They even had a crew that finished another job in the area early in the day, and had them go over to help get the job completed faster, without charging me extra for the extra laborers. <br> <br>Everything was very prompt and professional, and my tenants are very happy that their sun room is fixed. "I was walking through our bedroom and we have a sun room off of the bedroom which has its own little wing type area. All of a sudden water fell on me because of a rain storm and that's when we used them put in a new roof. This time he came out for free. The young men that did the job were great. They took a week to put on a new roof. They were not loud. They were gentlemen and were not cursing or anything. They were good to clean up after themselves because we have a pool in the yard and pets. They were very good."

"After Hurricane Ivan, the previous owner simply had a new layer of shingles installed over the existing shingles. By 09/2019 the roof needed new shingles. I received quotes from five companies: Bill Walther Roofing, Pensacola Roofing, Professional Roofing, Ridgeline Construction, and Lowes. Only two of them actually went up on the roof to evaluate its condition; the others took the square footage from satellite pictures. Bill was the only one to note that there were two layers of shingles. If you have a fireplace, you have a ridge that runs from your roof into the back of the chimney to divert water around the chimney. Bill was the only one to note that mine was too low and needed to be rebuilt higher. He also noted that there was water damage around my chimney and sections of rafters and soffit would need to be replaced. All of this extra work, and his estimate was the lowest of the five. Ridgeline presented the most impressive quote, including many color pictures of their work. But they noted that if any extra layers of shingles needed to be removed it would cost $30.00 per square extra! They priced themselves way out of consideration! I didn't choose Lows because I had no idea who would actually come out to do the work. My roof has since survived many storms, including Hurricane Sally, with absolutely no problems!!"

"<p>Ground Zero did a top-notch job from start to finish! It is rare these days to be inspired to write a positive review, so let me dive in with the details:<br /> 1. Sales - I visited their showroom in South OKC. Alicia was very friendly and knowledgeable about the shelters. I'm an engineer by trade and had many geeky engineering questions; Alicia was able to answer every question I had about the construction and design. She walked me through how the entire process is handled, and even described OKC's building permit process.  Was so impressed that I made the purchase on-the-spot.  The price I indicated ($2300) was a sales price for the "smaller" shelter, so your price may vary.  <br /> 2. Permits/Pre-Install:  Ground Zero provided pre-filled forms for the building permit. If you live in OKC you can go online and apply, then fax the forms. They (the City) will call you back for your CC number and give you the permit number (which you provide back to Ground Zero.   Ground Zero people followed up with me four days before install to ensure that everything was on-track.<br /> 3.  Installation:  Here is where Ground Zero hit it out of the park. I have to admit I was nervous about the install, as I've had more than a few installations that were total nightmares. My installers - Raul (Installer) and Xavier (Helper) were on time, ready to start immediately, and were very polite and professional.  Since I had a Pre-Tensioned Slab we had to call Suncoast to cut /re-anchor the cables latticed underneath the slab, this caused Raul and Xavier some minor delay and re-marking, but both of them worked seamlessly with Suncoast with the modifications and everything quickly was back on track.  Raul quickly had the slab cut and dirt removed within 1.5 hours, he was able to finesse the mini-excavator like a pro, probably could use it to pick up toothpicks if he wanted. Xavier was constantly moving and took care of the 1000 other smaller tasks, Raul and Xavier worked together like clockwork and rarely needed to talk.   When they were done they cleaned EVERYTHING, not a spot of mud anywhere inside or on the driveway, Raul used the pressure washer for a good 30 minutes just on the driveway.  While Raul hauled the dirt away, Xavier finished the troweling on the cement backfill leaving it with a nice raised feathering that looks very professional.   NEVER in four hours on site did I see either gentleman take a break to loaf, they were constantly moving and working non-stop. <br /> I'm very pleased with the professionalism of the Ground Zero Team from Start to Finish, and pleased with the final product.   No, I'm not a "shill" nor do I work for Ground Zero.
