The price he quoted also included changing my sprinkler system into a drip system to help maintain the health of all of the new plants. Everything turned out beautiful. "I can’t say enough good things about ABC Landscaping. After I first contacted Michael Couture for an estimate he was here within a day or so. I was also impressed at how quickly Michael and Barbara responded to my questions, whether by email or phone. Michael and his crew showed up right on schedule. I also appreciate that Dean Couture, the owner, also showed up on that morning; although he wasn’t working this job it showed that he had an interest in all his clients. The crew was awesome; very professional and friendly. They are some of the hardest workers I’ve encountered. Although I had certain plants in mind, when meeting Michael at the nursery he recommended a few items that might work better, and I’m sure glad I followed his recommendation. After the job was completed, there were a couple of issues with a few of the drip lines and Michael was back the very next day to fix them. And although we have a plant that is struggling (no fault of ABC), I have no doubt that Michael will replace it once I give the word! "We first contacted Michelle several months ago, and she came out and gave us an idea for landscaping our yard.  We liked her idea, but had more things to take into consideration (decks, specific plants, etc), so we had a landscape architect draw up the plans.  We then contacted Michelle again, and told her we wanted to do some of the work ourselves.  She was very easy to work with, gave us an itemized bid, and we chose what we wanted to do and what we wanted them to do. <br /> Our rock wall looks very nice - I was able to choose the boulders I wanted, and it came out better than I anticipated.  When I had concerns about runoff, the guys went out of their way to put extra material down and explain how the drainage was going to work.  We are still planting plants and putting down material in our yard (per our wishes), but they did what we asked them to do very well. <br /> The crew was wonderful to work with; very nice guys, and they were easy to communicate with.  We will certainly hire Affordable Services again, and highly recommend them! <br />"

"I called and asked for a after winter cleanup since we moved in to the house just prior to winter and never did anything to the yard. Personal Touch (PT) came out and told me about a Spring Cleanup deal, which was described, but the agent also mentioned numerous other things that apparently didn't fall under Spring cleanup, they were just other services for a different price. I agreed to do the Spring Cleanup and declined a regular service from them to gauge their performance and final cost to see if I would like to continue business with them. $1,300 dollars later (which I have waited to pay to discuss my dissatisfaction; I will be paying, but not doing anymore business with them) and what does not appear to be much work done - mulch turned and added more mulch, trimming, which I take their word they did, and weeding, which I still have many many weeds among my rocks. I know weeds will pop up, but there were weeds almost immediately afterwards and it just didn't look as if I paid someone to weed. I'll eat that one since they can't control the growth of weeds, I just wish they hadn't said to call them back if any weeds pop up. When I did, they said it had rained so they wouldn't honor that any longer. Bottom line for me is, I do not feel like $1,300 dollars was well spent. It also appears as if they charged me for more workers/hours. From what I saw when I returned home, one person could have done the job in a few hours. I was told two (or more?), did the job over 24 hours worth of work, or some explanation like that. I don't recall seeing them at the house for a 24 hour period, even if it was broken up. Bottom line - I will not be using PT again because of pricing compared to work done. I didn't even mention the several other services they offer for a similar price between 800 and 1300 dollars. They wanted me to sign a contract with them, but after what I experienced, I would not ever commit to them. In their defense, I believe they deal with a lot of very wealthy families/homes and retirees. I almost forgot, they claimed to seed my yard, or some kind of treatment due to the yard being very traumatized. The grass never recovered and no reschedule/reseed was attempted so I guess they try, but don't see it through. If their one treatment doesn't take hold, you're on your own. I bet they will help for more money, though. I feel ripped off."

"Timberline did my landscaping. They did everything I asked for and more. Elysia, the landscape architect drew a plan that was exactly what I wanted and added several features that I did not think of. The guys who did the work showed up when they were supposed to and worked hard every day. They were courteous and careful. When the job was done they did a walk through to make sure everything was okay. Someone stopped by a couple days later and checked again. When I found one minor problem, they came right out and fixed it. You won't regret hiring them. <br /> <br />"
