"Punctual and friendly. Crew was efficient and respectful. Showed up and finished the job as promised. Always you will find a couple small things that need adjusting after the fact for any project. They have supported their work and showed up quickly for those small adjustments. They also helped fine tune sprinklers as things became established and changed. Tons of compliments from my neighbors."

"Amazing work, they transformed a piece of dirt on the front of my home to an extended driveway made of pavers. They also created a beautiful patio with a fire pit. Communication was great, price was reasonable. Happy customer, will call them for future projects. "

"We visited Planet Granite today in search of the perfect kitchen countertops for our kitchen...We had been looking all around Colorado Springs for a very specific design. During our search, the other places we visited were lacking in everything a customer is looking for when looking for countertops. Service, selection, pricing...We arrived at Planet Granite and were greeted by a very happy friendly face, didn't have to wait at all, then were greeted by our sales guy, Myles, who was very knowledgeable and pleasing to walk the showroom with. I was actually surprised when he told me he was fairly new to the position...He was great! We were even introduced to the owner! Its so nice to see an owner involved in the day-to-day of his business...I guess this is the result you get...Great service, great selection, great experience...:) Pretty much non-existent before this...We found our perfect piece and are super excited to have it in our kitchen! I will be recommending this place to everyone I know who is looking for countertops..."

"The technician came and explained what he would do. Then he ran our 6 sectors, one at a time. If he determined that any of the heads had a problem, he would suggest what would be needed to fix it and got our approval before doing the work. He also applied a soil surfactant to some brown spots in the lawn and gave me a few risers without charge. He also made suggestions on watering procedures."

"ABC Landscaping truly exceeded our expectations and transformed our backyard into an amazing Colorado oasis! Michael listened to our desires, presented several options, and then creatively pulled all our wishes together and embellished it with beautiful, artistic features to create a masterpiece. Then he, Jamie and crew handled everything to make his vision a reality – going above and beyond to ensure every detail was what we wanted, never cutting corners and even coming back after project completion to replace a plant & make certain we were happy. We couldn’t be more delighted with their service and extraordinary results!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Cripple Creek, CO

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
