During demo, they towed in a dumpster and towed it away at the end of each day. The worksite was VERY clean at the end of each day. They did not keep tools or equipment here. They vacuumed every night. They tarped and sealed off the rest of the house every day. - Timeliness - Excellent. Each one of our contractors, including Joe, quoted 5 weeks for the reno. Sunny Day finished in 3.5 weeks. That is a testament to his team planning and organization. - Added Bonus - Joe has developed relationships with some great vendors. We had no idea what we were doing and certainly no experience with local businesses. Joe gave us excellent guidance in the planning phase and gave us great contacts for cabinets, counter tops, plumbing and flooring. "I went to Angi.com to search for a waterproofing business. I contacted one business and was waiting for them to get back to me when I received notification that another business in my area had been located. Steve called me shortly after I had received the notification and said he received my information from Angi.com and could be out the same day and would call to let me know when he was headed my way. True to his word, he called and arrived when he said he would. After surveying the problem it was determined I needed a new sump pump. Steve quoted me the price and said he would have someone out the next day. The next morning I received a call from Steve letting me know he could have Julian out to my house that morning in about 20 minutes if that would work. I said it was perfect and Julian arrived when Steve said he would. Julian was very professional and courteous (as was Steve) and within an hour my new sump pump was installed. Julian called Steve to confirm the price which was what Steve had quoted me and Steve said he would email me my receipt later that day. I received my receipt later that day as promised. "The work was completed promptly after the State allowed work to start. The initial inspection identified an improper installation about 20+ years go. The roofers installed new decking, an improved ventilation system and an external vent for the bathroom vent fan. The crew kept the job site clean as well a keeping us informed about progress."

One of the son's of the company owner came in and gave us an estimate. He was very easy to talk with, professional and fully answered our questions. He broke the estimate down into different jobs that they recommended and we decided what we wanted to have done at that time. Our main focus was on stablizing our floors, as we had squeaks, doors that wouldn't close or stay open, etc. The crew, led by another son of the company owner, were at our home for three days and were very professional and understanding of our need to keep dust and dirt in the house to a minimum due to the husband's illness. They took care to clean up and not carry dirt through out the home.

We had an immediate change with doors and floors feeling more stable. The tiled kitchen floor stopped squeaking. They recommended making no changes in wall repair or windows or doors until everything settled fully after three months. We also decided to have the crawl space covered and all vents closed off, which moderates the temperature in the crawl space and cuts down on dirt and bugs getting in. Each day, we got an update on progress and when the job was complete, the crew leader took pictures of the space to show us what had been completed and explained the work that was done.

Although the cost was high, the work done was an obvious advantage to our home. From others we've talked with who have had similar foundation repairs, the cost is always high.
