Once we settled on Baumann's Landscaping as our contractor, we called Rick and the crew were out the next morning promptly at 9am. We were expecting two days of work to clear the brush, but they completed the job in 4 hours. The crew went above and beyond, killing vines choking our trees, mulching all the deadfall, and pushing the brush line all the way back beyond the trees (we live on Maryland wetlands). "Angie's list had a deal for up to 4 hrs of leaf removal, so we thought we would try them. We originally schedule a Monday at 9:00am, but they didn't show. When we finally contacted them (the voice mailbox was full), they thought it was for the following Monday. Ok, so there was a misunderstanding. So the next Monday comes and they don't show up again. There was snow on the ground, which was an exclusion in the deal, so we expected a notification that they weren't coming. None came until after we reached out to them. We were told that they had emailed, but we never received one. We rescheduled for Thursday at 9:00am. They called early Thursday to say they would be there in the afternoon. They finally did the work that day. I will say they got most of the leaves off the yard, but it looks like they ruffed up the turf some with their powerful vacuums. But most annoying was the large pile of leaves they left in the walkout, which I had to deal with so they wouldn't block the drain. So I'd say that they certainly removed the leaves from the yard, but they lacked finesse, weren't particularly careful at cleaning up afterward, and were hard to contact."
