"Initial meeting, pricing, and installation all went great. Worked with Tad to select and place landscape and lanai lighting based on what my wife and I wanted. Tad had suggestions which also were spot on. I would have rated them much higher if not for a recent support issue. Long story short, we left our lanai remote outside (under cover but we were stupid) and it got wet. We noticed that out lighting no longer changed color or adjusted. Called Tad, he said no problem, happens more than you think and he promptly brought a new remote. This didnt fix the problem. Apparently our transformer wouldn't connect to the new remote and had to be fixed. Two weeks later the issue gets resolved and we get a HEFTY service bill. Questioned Tad about the price and he basically said, it was our fault as we let the remote get wet. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? How does replacing a remote control require a new transformer?? There must have been an issue as the system was only installed two months ago. I also questioned if the components were warrantied and he again referenced the remote getting wet. Sorry, but that is TERRIBLE customer service (in my opinion, a bad business model too). I can't in good conscience recommend a company that doesn't stand behind its components / work."

"A neighbor was cutting a piece of cracked sidewalk to repair damage when his saw stopped due to electrical loss.  Efforts to restore power by resetting the GFI and breaker were unsuccessful.  It was then discovered that the power was also out to the water softener, washer, and dryer.  Though inconvenient I could deal with it through the weekend so as not to incur additional expense.  Sent a note to Rudisill Electric (on Saturday) asking to be scheduled for service the first of the next week.  Rick wrote back almost immediately telling me to reset all the breakers including the main power to the house.  Still no success but I did notice a difference in the feel of one breaker.  After advising Rick he guided me through a more refined process to re-engage the breaker that was at fault.  It worked! <br /> I'm wary of those who seek to take advantage and this would have been a golden opportunity.  I'd already done what Rick advised but with his expertise he knew by my description that instead of a failed breaker it just wasn't fully engaging.  He saved me a service call and got my appliances back functioning on a weekend with no expense.  When I reported all systems were working he expressed gratitude at having been able to help me without a visit and wished me a Merry Christmas!  That's integrity at its best. <br />"

"I specifically requested James because I saw a review that he helped someone figure out their screwed up electric. I was super happy with James and Kyle, they were professional and installed two dynatraps (bug zapper), outdoor security lights, closet light fixture. He added two outdoor outlets and helped my husband and I figure what switches in our home went to what. When I tried to explain what my issue was all I could say was my electric was wackamole ?.
