"Lazaro and his crew members, Fidel, William, and Issac, transformed our back yard from being a dirty and unpleasant hellscape where my wife and I never spent any time to being a beautiful and clean space where we can host parties, cookouts, and relax. The crew was extremely professional, organized, thoughtful, experienced, efficient, and communicative throughout the course of the project. I was quite impressed with their design and planning skills, extensive experience, and passion for their work. My wife and I own a small row house with a small back yard, which presented unique challenges to the crew: no back yard access except through neighbors’ properties. The crew handled this challenge well by being communicative and friendly with my neighbors and always cleaning up the space at the end of each working day. They always ensured that the fencing and hardscaping looked good from both sides of the property line, so that my neighbors were also happy! Another challenge was that an adjacent property is about 3 feet above grade and not pleasant to look at from our yard. Lazaro’s planning and vision for a beige brick half-wall, topped with wooden lattice flower boxes was a great finishing touch that provided a beautiful transition between the red brick paver patio and the elevated wooden fence to block the view of the adjacent property. The crew carefully planned their work from the beginning, so that there were no surprises at the end as the finishing touches were put on and the fence was erected. My wife and I are also confident that the money we spent on this work will be a great investment—not only for enjoying our new home, but also in the resale value some day in the future. "Initially I thought I wanted just a concrete pad. When George (Melvin) came out to look at the work he explained a few options I had with regard to a patio. I decided to change the work to a gravel base and wait until I had a deck installed to get the concrete base for the pavers that’s I want for my patio. George was on-time for our meetings and started the work the next day after we signed a contract. The project turned out as expected and quickly with no surprise costs at the end. I will be using him for follow-on work at my house and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND his company to anyone looking for concrete work and/or grading."

"Blue Ridge does quality work efficiently, friendly and economically. . We had several projects over the last year. The largest was a major redo of swimming pool landscape. Previous plants and beds were removed and replaced by rock. Dead/dying red bud trees were removed and replaced by rose of sharon. Other shrubbery was also removed and replaced. "Kevin McCray and his team did a drive through the neighborhood and knocked on my door to ask if I wanted my trees trimmed. I have received several quotes in the past from professional arborist companies which were very high so we could not complete the work even though it was in serious need of being done. McCray's quote was very fair, and while it didn't cover the full extent of work our past quotes had, it covered the main areas of concern for me so I decided to move forward.
if you are looking for a place that will provide full written contract and such, this is probably not the service for you. However, if you are budget conscious and just want a job well done, then they are great. Very professional and courteous team, did work safely with no damage to our house or yard and cleaned up after themselves so you can't tell they were even here. Walked through the scope of work before and after to ensure we were on the same page about what was to be done and for what price. And no money exchanged hands until I was walked through and happy with the result.

I can't speak to their other landscaping work as I didn't have any done, but they do offer other landscaping services as well."
