Because they could not start for almost one month from the date I accepted their proposal, they very very flexible about the deposit. Once they began the job they were very professional. Their prep was painstaking because they put so much into it. They certainly didn't skimp with the preparation. Once they started painting their crew did a meticulous job working very hard. My house, porch and bulkhead look fantastic. Andre was often here to check on the progress of the job and answer any concerns or comments that I had. I'm extremely happy that I chose Universal Painting and Andre da Sliva. I don't know how any of the others who quoted the job could have done a more professional job."

"Poor communication by Carlos several times with myself and his crew, resulting in no show and delays. Crew showed up without a level and tape measure for a shower door install. Water left running outside, hit wiring and knocked out power to part of the house, discovered after they had left on a Saturday. Gil the tile mason, Lou and Brune the plumbing crew did great work. I would not however hire Carlos (Roberts Home and Yard Improvement) again for the 2 other larger projects planned in the next few months."

"The travertine marble on our fireplace surround had cracked under its own weight and was pulling away from the wall. Superior gave the lowest quote and also had great reviews so we gave them a shot. The whole process was pleasant and painless - We were able to pick from any remnant they had on hand and found a nice honed granite. They told us it would unfortunately not be done until after the new year. Bill came out to do the template and asked if we were having Christmas dinner at our house - I said yes, and he said he would see if they can squeeze us in before the Holiday. Sure enough we got an appointment for Dec 18th. The installers were super friendly and nice - They got the job completed in a couple hours and it looks beautiful. There was no mess at all and everything looks great. I would call Superior again in a heartbeat."

"Unresponsive and Unprofessional. Workers didn't show when they said they would. They did not finish the job, but told me they did. Left trash everywhere. They also installed an outdoors unit on my neighbor's property and want me to pay $7,500 to move it. This would have just been a simple fix, but they have been making it extremely difficult leaving me no choice but to file a complaint against their license and their bond."
