Since we live out in the country, a chain link fence was even more expensive. "Fox fencing put up about 250 foot of scalloped, shadowboxed fencing around part of our yard, for the dog.  They also put in 2 four foot gates. In addition, Fox put up an arbour and 16' foot of fencing on the left front of our house, not functional as much as it is a decorative feature.  They took away the old fence as well.  It took about 3.5 days to do the work.  The workers (Alex) were on time, communicative and professional.  The fence is excellent workmanship.  My dad and I put in the original fence 20 years ago, so I know (may not be able to it build though) a quality fence when I see one. We got three bids.  All the bids were within 200-300 dollars.  I chose Fox partly from the reviews and partly because of the knowledgeable and informative sales person. <br /> Just for pricing information, we used 6 by 6 foot posts for a 30 foot stretch in the front.  We also had "french gothic" post tops installed.
