"I read the reviews on Angie's List and called Troy.  This was Memorial Day but he offered to come out to the house for an estimate.  He arrived promptly as promised, gave a quote and offered to do the work now.  I don't normally like for a service provider to take that approach since I like to do comparison shopping.  But I already had an idea of the cost of doing the job, so I told him to go ahead.  
It had been severeal years since I had put down mulch, so there was nothing to build on.  It was a "start-over" project.  He worked, non-stop for about 3-1/2 hours.  My husband went out several times to watch the progress and chat with Troy, (as we older people like to do).  He was great about listening and engaging in conversation.  He called us by name, which I found very impressive.  He was pleasant to deal with.
When he was done, he asked us to look over the project and make sure everything was OK.  He told us if there was anything wrong, tell him and he'll make it right.  There was nothing wrong, of course.  He cleaned up the walk ways and street area before leaving.  I'll use him again for mulch and/or other landscaping job I have.
