He always did what he said he was going to do, he was patient as we chose the pavers and design, he showed up for every appointment on time and he was extremely accommodating. If we wanted to change something he was very amenable and he did not nickle and dime us. We had 7 estimates and researched all kinds of ways to deal with our cracked, two level and old concrete patio. His estimate was not only the most reasonable in price, but he convinced us that our severe drainage problem could be fixed using his method. We were very worried about this aspect of the job, as water has pooled there for years, in spite of various efforts to fix it. Not only does it now look fabulous, but this week we have had our first rains (2-3 inches!) and there is not a drop of water pooling on the patio. We are very, very pleased with the work he did for us."

"From start to finish, we had a great experience with System Pavers.  They were prompt and organized from the start.  Getting any contractor or laborer to return a phone call much less show up for an appointment is hard these days.  System Pavers immediately had Scott out to my house and he walked us through the scope of work and gave us a great deal on the project.  Scott was  very kind, quick to communicate and had great design ideas. "We wanted to replace our concrete driveway with pavers and re-do the landscaping in our front yard (including installation of drip irrigation). We evaluated three companies and chose Black Diamond because Jim Roberts, our project manager, provided the most material concerning their proposal. This included a detailed description of how the pavers would be installed and an initial diagram of how our front yard would look and the qualifications of their installers. Black Diamond also has a horticulturist on retainer. Joan Lee came to see our yard and then developed a plan for low-maintenance, low water plants that included a variety of different grasses and shrubs that flowed from lower in front to higher toward the house and that bloom with a variety of colors at different times throughout the year. Juan Baez led a team of five to six guys that did the work. He was excellent and careful. He clearly knew what he was doing and offered suggestions along the way that made the project better. While I had a rough idea of how I wanted our driveway and front yard to look, I didn't really know what to expect. In the end, the whole project looks as good or better than I could have hoped. We have received numerous complements from neighbors and passersby, which we didn't expect. We are quite pleased with Jim Roberts' supervision and the work done by Juan Baez and his crew. We're happy to recommend Black Diamond to perform hardscape and landscape work."

"Amazing. I couldn't have asked for more. We had very specific problems we needed addressed, flooding in the back yard, we are on a very busy corner so we wanted protection against drivers ending up in our bedroom, privacy in our front bedroom, we have a telephone pole in our back yard, a pool we want to feel private even though we live across from the high school, and three kids who need space. They designed a stunning front and back yard that addressed all our issues. Even took into account our location at the high school and added boulders for kids to wait on so they wouldn't trample my yard! I love succulents and California natives so those were used throughout. A rotation of plants were utilized as well so even in the winter we have nice colors through our yard. They are a joy to work with and skilled in their craft.
