The paint itself is uneven and poorly applied, with multiple areas lacking proper coverage. This is not a minor issue or a matter of preference?this is substandard work that fails to meet basic industry standards for drywall finishing and painting. A competent contractor would ensure smooth, properly prepared surfaces, apply primer, and complete sufficient coats for an even finish. None of that was done correctly here.
