The dirt delivered was brown and well sifted. There were not many rocks at all. Let me throw out a disclaimer. This isn't pitch black organic dirt you'd buy in an expensive 20-pound bag from Home Depot. It is GOOD dirt. I don't think I'd utilize it to start an organic, high-quality garden, but my wife and I purchased this truckload to grade away from the entire foundation of our entire home. I'm placing that disclaimer in because I've read a lot of poor reviews given by individuals who seem to be whole-heartedly disappointed they aren't getting ultra-premium black-as-the-night-sky organic dirt. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Dand D Excavating and Landscape Service, Inc. did everything we asked and then some... they were a pleasure to do business with and I would gladly recommend them to any of my friends and family.
