"<p>He has done a custom-built closet, which turned out beautiful. He also has completely gutted and remodeled a downstairs bathroom. It turned out beautiful. We bought our hot tub from him when he was in the hot tub business. We have had the hot tub for 16 years. He does very good work and is pretty knowledgeable, but one has to have patience with him because he gets off in different directions sometimes. I put up with it because I like what he does. Some people might be a little bugged because sometimes he says he will be back tomorrow, but then doesn't show up until several days later.  The only issue I have with him is his timeliness. He is working on my deck right now. He is repairing where I have a 100-year-old tree that grew and put a hole in the deck and buckled it up. We are just getting started on that project. For us he has done carpentry, plumbing -- he installed all the toilets and did all the plumbing work. He is also a licensed electrician so he has done electrical work and you name it -- deck work. He is kind of a jack of all trades. Right now I know he is working on someone's basement, supporting steel beams and all that stuff. That is why he has not finished my deck work because he is busy with the basement. He also put in our garbage disposal for us. That guy has done so much I can't remember everything. I have been dealing with him, probably, 20 years plus. On the fence his cost was about $3,000 and the materials were the other $3,000. He will save people money because he has the customer buy the materials after he tells them what he needs. He takes no markup in the materials. He even went with me when I  bought the materials for the fence. He only charges you for his labor. I have several other project for him to do including putting on a garage roof. </p>"

We have worked with Shad for several years to create a front yard that is beautiful and easy care. Everyone comments on its beauty. Shad is extremely knowledgeable and gracious. They have replaced plants that didn't thrive the first season at no cost. They are reasonable and thorough. They are also creative. "I found Tallgrass Landscaping on HomeAdvisor, another web site. He and another landscape designer quoted on what I requested. I chose Tallgrass because I thought they would do a quick, clean, straight-forward job. That they did. However, when one of the plants failed to thrive and has died, they would not replace it even though it stated in the contract and Mr. Bush assured me repeatedly that he would have his guys replace the plant. The last text message I sent informed him that his guys had not arrived the day before to replace the plant. I have not heard from Mr. Bush or anyone else at Tallgrass Landscaping. This was a good experience until the plant incident. <br />"

"<p>All-N-1 did an excellent job for us.  We had mud spots in the backyard where we could not get grass to grow after several years of attempts.  We proposed a rock patio.  Charlotte Cox (landscaper) instead did a gorgeous rock garden design that was MUCH better than anything we had envisioned.  She designed it using photoshop so we could see every rock. plant, tree in our yard before we signed the contract.  I got to pick out the boulders we used myself at Rock City.  Turned out awesome!  That was 2012. </p> <p>So we hired Charlotte again in 2013 to do other parts of the yard needing work, and to redo a front landscape we had paid another company to design for us a couple of years before - which we were not happy with.  Charlotte came up with an expanded and much more interesting design, and economically upgraded it to a beautiful sight.  We were totally pleased with their creativeness, quality of work, responsiveness to any issues.</p> <br />"
