"<p>A pipe from the sump pump was leaking and I phoned Turney late Thursday afternoon to request service. They were not able to send someone out until the following Wednesday. On the Tuesday before their scheduled arrival, the pipe burst. I phoned them immediately and they sent Joshua and a helper out right away. They replaced the pipe. At that time we discussed replacing the sump pump but decided not to as it seemed to be working properly. There was no pressure to purchase a pump.The cost for this service (replacing the sump pump pipe and regulator valve) was $94.87.<br /> </p> Unfortunately, a few weeks later on a Sunday, the sump pump developed problems, e.g. would not quit running. Because of impending storms that day, I decided to go ahead and have the sump pump replaced then even though the charge would be time and a half for labor on Sunday. Jim Turney came out promptly at the prearranged time and replaced the sump pump. He said he would arrange to have the pipe affixed more securely to the wall during the week. Turney phoned and sent Josh to complete the repair. <br /> Josh came and did an excellent job of securing the discharge pipe to the wall. (He did what the contractor should have done in the first place.) The cost for these services (mainly replacing the sump pump and securing the discharge pipe) was $392.09 which included the extra fee for after hours service call and labor. Labor has a one year warranty. Parts are probably warranted according to the manufacturer. <br /> I was very impressed with the quality of the service I received from both Josh and Jim. They were knowledgeable, came when they said they would, answered the questions that I had, and cleaned up after the job was finished. They were also friendly, helpful, and courteous. <br /> If problems arise in the future, I would contact Turney again. <br />"

"I needed to have work done as soon as possible as I had just opened up the house after a long absence and I was expecting five house guests the next day. They were able to work me into their schedule. They got to work immediately and worked hard without breaking except for a quick lunch. They were personable and cheerful while being very professional. <br /> <br /> The windows have not looked this clean in a long time, the floors are spotless and I will certainly use them again."

"After researching in the yellow pages for carpet cleaning companies, I went online to their (and other companies) website to get more information. The website was well maintained and very informative (owner bio, equipment description, rates, etc). I called on the 5th to schedule an appointment. I explained to the owner, Sean, what areas I was looking to have cleaned and the services in which I was interested. He was flexible with dates and times to have the service done. The day of my appointment Sean showed up 10 minutes early in his clearly marked company van and he was dressed professionally in a company shirt. After I invited him in, he asked me to show him the areas in need of service. He measured every space and gave me an exact quote prior to beginning. He explained that the fans and cleaners he used were rather loud, where he would be starting the cleaning and how long he anticipated the service would take. First he deodorized the areas I requested with a commercial cleaner then cleaned the upstairs landing with a hand attachment. He then cleaned the living room, bedroom and closet with an upright machine attached to the van. When he was completed, he walked me through the high-traffic areas that still appeared dirty and explained that it was due to the wear of the carpet fibers and that they don't reflect light the same as the rest of the carpet, but he assured me that the areas were clean. He also explained that as the carpet dried we may smell residual odor but once the carpet was completely dry, no odor would remain. I asked how long to leave the furniture off the carpet, he responded that we could walk on the carpet now as long as our feet were clean but to leave the furniture off for 24 hours or until the carpet was completely dry (the carpet was dry after approximately 14 hours). He presented me with the bill and explained that he had scotchgarded all areas cleaned without additional charge. The bill was for the amount quoted."
