"I recently took on a backyard renovation project that began in mid September of this year (2018). The backyard project has been broken into three phases. The first phase was the pavers for the patio and the construction of a bbq island. After doing extensive research, my wife and I settled on System Pavers to hire to do the work in the backyard. Our primary consultant was Lucas. He was amazing to work with every step of the way. He met with my wife and I on a Sunday and planned out every step. We were in constant communication by cell phone, either by text messaging or by direct phone contact. Any time that I had a question or problem, I could always get a hold of Lucas. If he was unavailable, he would always return my phone call or text message. The first phase is now complete and we are extremely pleased with the results of the pavers for the patio and of course the bbq island. I have shared several pictures. System Pavers completed the patio and bbq island. The sink, bbq, and pizza oven were purchased from another retailer and the granite work was contracted out by another contractor. Did we experience some problems? Yes we did. The whole project was delayed over a month due to the back order of the "Sparkling Autumn" ledgers, that is the stone that surrounds the bbq island. We worked with Lucas and his team to discuss our options. My wife and I made the decision to stick with the "Sparkling Autumn" ledgers rather than push the project through and settle on a ledger that would not go with the patio stone. We had to wait through the delays, but it was well worth it. Another problem was that the bbq island was not built to my design. It was built in reverse. Lucas took charge and the bbq island was redone to meet the original specifications. The masonry contractor built the bbq island to an exact fit for the actual bbq and sink. There were no problems coordinating efforts and construction to accommodate the granite contractor. One last problem that we ran into, was an issue of drainage that was discovered when the pavers were being laid down. This was resolved in two ways, first a small retaining wall was built and next a drain will be built to redirect pooling water that was discovered after the down pour of rain that we recently experienced. Finally, we would highly recommend "System pavers" to work on your front yard or backyard project. A huge thank you to Lucas and the staff of System Pavers."

"Alfredo actually came in as the lowest bid I got because he is so fair with pricing. After reading his reviews and seeing pics of all the good work he had previously done I knew he was the right guy for the job. Cheaper prices definitely did not mean lower quality work. Unlike other contractors he gave me multiple options to choose from for different aesthetics that would all still allow proper drainage. This allowed me to pick the exact look I wanted. His crew were all very pleasant and all hard workers. They were able to pull out all grass, soil and other debris then pack all new base rock and lay rebar all in just 1 day. This was for a new single car driveway as well as another new driveway and the side yard behind that (3 new spaces to park vehicles total). The next day all the concrete was poured/ textures and they took the time to do a really thorough clean up as well as even re-route my sprinklers so they worked properly. Just 2 days to completely create 3 new driveways! I’m really impressed with the work and so are my neighbors. 3 have already asked me for Alfredo’s number."

"They did a fantastic job and even came in at the best price. They came in on a Thursday and took out all the concrete with a bobcat into the trucks. They put in new beautiful pavers that look like cobblestone. We used to have drainage problems and they even did it in a way that everything drains underground into the street. "We have a 1/2 acre lot.  Although the large grass backyard was very attractive it was not very usable as it sloped away.  So we had a limited use yard, a small patio that could only comfortably handle about 4 people.  Additionally we were paying for watering and lawn service with no real return.  We decided that it would be a better use of the area if we extended the patio.  We also thought that it wold be too much concrete so we decided to put a Bocce court in the lower level.  That gives us much more use of the area. <br /> Our back yard is beautiful and everyone that has been there to visit and/or play Bocce has agreed.  The people that did the work were professional, friendly and respectful.  We feel like we have new friends. <br /> During the construction, we would be apprised of issues and given a choice of solutions.  Most of the time these were no-cost changes.  Their costs were almost always what they estimated.  Most of the cost increases came from my wife and I saying things like "while you at it..." or "can you also build...." <br /> When they did not feel completely comfortable with an issue (E.g., they changed a 220 volt line into 2 separate fused 110 volt lines with switches and outlets), they told us so and asked our permission to bring in a subcontractor (and electrician) to assure that everything was done correctly and to code.  They told us this during the design process. <br /> When things were not done to our expectations, they redid them.  A month after the job was done we saw grass growing through an area where the grass was removed, weed barrier installed and covered with mulch.  When we called, they came out to see and agreed that it should not have happened and are now in the process of redoing that area.  Great follow up! <br />"
