"My tenant contacted me with concerns about mold on the ceiling and windows of their bathroom. This stemmed from a leak in the roof a few months earlier. I contacted Mike and he scheduled to take a look within that same week. He examined the bathroom, the other rooms in the house and the attic. He said that his product would eliminate the mold without having to rip up all the sheet rock, etc. We scheduled a time for him to come back to spray the product and he arrived as promised. It only took him a short time to spray the house and I was surprised how much the mold disappeared that same day. We scheduled a second visit just to make sure the product hit all the mold spores and it seemed to kill all the mold without having to replace the ceilings and walls. Also, he has a guarantee that if I see mold re-surfaced at all they will come and re-mediate. Overall I think this was a good, cost effective way to eliminate the problem and the tenants have not had any issues since.  <br />"

"I bought my current home in November 2013 and although I was okay with the heat provided by the furnace during the 2013-14 winter, I knew that I would need to get a more energy efficient furnace. I spoke with some people at Home Depot who were offering to do a furnace/ac evaluation so I signed up. (I had installed an energy efficient furnace in my former home and so was familiar with the process, costs, etc.) <br /> The Holbrook salesman, Ron Cornell ("Gator") was a pleasure to deal with. He arrived promptly, answered all of my questions, and discussed several options including brands and the pros and cons of installing AC now or later. (I went with a package installation of both AC and furnace). The price appeared to be reasonable (a little better for the furnace than I'd gotten from a competitor a few years back). I agreed for an installation for two weeks later. <br /> I purchased a Goodman 96.3% efficiency natural gas furnace and a Goodman Air Conditioning unit. <br /> The installers (Dan W. and Brandon) showed up for the 2 day installation promptly both days. Dan was the experienced installer; Brandon was working under his direction. Both were polite and friendly, answering questions I had about the installation process. They cleaned up after themselves beautifully both days. Small problems with the installation (like mis-threaded piping and thermostat wiring that was not sufficient for the AC) were quickly and efficiently solved. Some new duct work and adjustments to existing ducts were required as part of the installation. Dan did great job of installing  the AC, integrating it flawlessly into the furnace. The furnace was working when they tested it, but it's been too warm to give it a thorough testing. Brandon helped on all aspects. <br /> I found Holbrook Heating and AC to be an excellent company to work with. Their sales and installation staff were great.  I recommend them highly. <br />"

"We're extremely satisfied with the work Fox Air did replacing and upgrading our entire HVAC system (only the existing oil burning furnace was kept).  We'd spoken with several other possible service providers, but Fox's representative, Nate Rose, did a much better job than others in helping us understand various benefits and options, and making us feel comfortable with such a big expense.  He was always responsive to questions and concerns in a friendly and non-pressuring way.  The actual installation began a day late due to delays on a previous job, but Fox then added a second crew to help finish our work without any additional delay.  Both crews were always on time and easy to have in our home; we took the dog to work with us to keep her out of their way, but otherwise let the crews come and go as they pleased.  They always cleaned up after they left; except for the work itself we would not have known we were a construction site at all.  Nate arranged for a carpenter to come and do the necessary structural and sheet rock work to make the installation possible (new access doors had to be created), and the Fox crews seem to have done a great job upgrading insulation and duct work, as promised.  Fox also followed up after the installation, sending Nate back to check on any remaining issues, and then a technician to review and fine tune everything; they also included a free service of the furnace. <br /> FWIW we're also very happy with the equipment itself.  It's been warm so far this winter of course, but the gauge on the oil tank has barely budged, so the Lennox heat pumps Fox sells seem to be working as advertised.  The house is comfortable, the new air handlers are much more quiet and efficient than the old ones, and it's amazing to have our home warmed without the furnace running.  Of course the price of oil is down for now, but it still feels good to know we're pumping less carbon into the atmosphere than before.  Anyway, we couldn't be happier with the whole process.  It was expensive, but the Fox quotes were in line with others, and they did a great job from the initial evaluation and proposal through the installation, and then followup afterwards. <br />"

She thoroughly tested a wide variety of areas in our home and made specific recommendations for remediation and further evaluation. If you are looking for an independent view from a professional who does not then try to sell you remediation services, I would recommend that you give her a call. <br />"
