"We knew there was a yellow jacket nest near the front wooden step, but they had caused no trouble for anyone all summer up until August.   We were going to clear it out in the fall, after they were done.   Then the wasps decided they were no longer going to be friendly and stung me over a dozen times one afternoon while getting the mail (luckily I am not allergic).  Not knowing the extent of the size of the nest and not wanting to get stung again while trying to eliminate them, I called Perfection late that afternoon and my call was promptly answered.    Dan said he would put it on the list for the next day and the next day I talked to the office and someone was scheduled to come late that afternoon.   A few hours before the scheduled time, he called and asked if he could come early and I said  "of course".    Dan arrived and verified they were yellow jackets and that he could get rid of them that day.  He took his time and watched for their flight pattern before attempting to spray.  Once he knew his safest route, he began spraying them down and they were not happy about it.  It took several rounds of spraying and waiting for them to exit and calm down before he could go in and finish and put down some barrier dust so that the stragglers still out feeding would come back and contact it and also die.   After he felt comfortable they were mostly gone, he pulled the wooden step back and we saw no live ones.  He also found a small hole between the brick and concrete behind the step and also put some dust  and spray in it, just in case  there were others down it.  While safely waiting in the garage during the extermination, I found a small wasps nest on the top of the garage door-  Dan came over to check it out, and quickly took care of it before it could become a bigger problem.  Dan was very professional, friendly and  "chatty"-   we discussed bees and other pests, and he had some very interesting stuff about Carpenter Bees I had never heard of.     It has been appr. 2 weeks since the extermination, and  there are still no bees on the porch, so I am confident the treatment was successful and that calling in a professional was, in the long run, much faster and cheaper than a hospital visit . I know if I see any of the bees congregating, I can call them and they will make it right..  I highly recommend this company. <br />"

"I chose this company because they'd done a neighbors' concrete and they were pleased with the experience and the sealant that was used doesn't change the appearance like most do. <br />   When I first contacted them they were booked ahead with big jobs. They could get to me by mid-June, but would fit my job in earlier if possible. They did, several weeks earlier. <br />   They cleaned my driveway, personal walk and patio, public sidewalk, and curb. Special care was given to the highly dirty/mildewed areas. I pointed out some decorative border stones and a repaired area that would be fragile and he took care to not damage those (or anything else).  <br />   They discussed whether the water-based or solvent-based sealant would be better given the age of my concrete (and the tendency to mildew). The solvent-based was used with special attention to those areas prone to mildew. <br />   They kept me well-informed re: what was being done and what I can expect going forward. <br />   I'm LOVING the clean look and also seeing water just bead up on top!! <br />   I didn't give an 'A' re: price, but it may have been competitive re: what I had done and the products/tools used. I hadn't gotten any other prices since I knew I wanted them to do it."

"We were looking for a carpenter to add crown molding, base molding and moldings around doors and windows in our house as we are remodeling. We saw other good reviews for ACA Handyman on Angie's List and gave them a call. They answered our call, made an appointment and came early to the appointment! All things I have not had other do in the past. They were able to get measurements and a quote during the initial  appointment and we decided to move forward. <br /> <br />We had existing crown molding we were tying into in our hallway and dining room and the ACA Handymen were able to do so without being able to tell! They were on time each day, and although it took an extra day to complete, it worked out fine. We also had them hang a new door to an existing door frame and it looks wonderful. They had to widen the door hinges and added a door handle. There was one split in the molding on the window, but our painter was able to patch it with no problems and you can't tell it was <br /> <br />even there. <br /> <br />We are extremely happy with the outcome of moldings. We wish we would have known about them sooner to do other work in the <br /> <br />house! We will continue to use them on other projects and strongly recommend ACA Handyman to others! <br /> <br />"

"Nick was responsive by phone, text and email. Review/panning session went well and a good design/solution was proposed to allow for reuse of stairs when a deck would be installed in the future. Stairs were installed within a reasonable amount of time after an agreement on price was reached. Work was well done in less than a day and very sturdy."
