"Never received service from this company. Very poor communication, came out to give me a quotes, which was reasonable, but always seemed to be busy and never came to complete the service. After several attempts to schedule I finally just found someone else and I am glad I do. Would not recommend this coming."

"Jack helped us long distance to restore our yard after a car plowed through. We live out of state and rent the property. He designed the yard to protect any future mishap with large boulders that look great and add to the Colorado surroundings. Then he carefully placed new plants. When the fence materials from his supplier were subpar, he stood behind his work."

"I have a large yard, facing south It is tiered with rock walls and flagstone steps down to a canal. In May I fractured my hip and could not walk down the steps nor remove scruff from my plants. The True Trims team listened to my wishes and directions. (They did not carve up my precious yucca.) They did all I asked, leaving the yard tidy and cared for. They hauled away the debris too. I couldn't do any of those tasks this year. They did such a professional job, I plan to hire them again this year "

Hello neighbors and community, my name is Francisco, and I'm looking to keep my hands busy. I currently work as a concrete finisher and looking to assist anyone in the area. If you've been thinking to get some concrete work done or just add on to your backyard,(patios, steps, or making your driveway bigger).\n\nI've also got experience in lawn maintenance, wether you need lawn clean up or gutter cleaning maybe some rock/gravel around the home to add some POP or color to match the house I'm the one for it. Contact me with any questions or for a quote today. Thank you.

"Taylor is a great landscape/patio designer. We absolutely love our stamped concrete patio. Taylor responded right away to request for a bid and had an entire backyard design completed in a week. We wanted a flowing design with lots of curves and balance and he nailed it. Patterson landscaping sub contracts the physical work and I felt the subcontractors sometimes lacked the vision for the project, but nothing would happen until we were satisfied with the layout and plan. In the end we got an amazing patio at a fair price. We have already recommended Patterson Landscaping to friends and neighbors who have seen the finished project."

FAQs for lawn care aeration projects in Denver, CO

Aeration is the best way to keep your lawn healthy and vibrant. Annual aeration makes your lawn more breathable and helps nutrients reach the roots, improving water absorption and reducing puddles where pests might breed. However, timing matters. It's best to avoid aerating during droughts, extreme heat, or if your lawn is battling weeds. A local pro can help you determine the ideal time for your yard.

Most lawns benefit from annual aeration to keep them healthy and thriving. If your lawn has a lot of thatch buildup—more than half an inch—you might need to aerate twice a year for a couple of years to get it under control. But if your soil isn't compacted and there's minimal thatch, you might be able to skip a year.

When you hire a professional lawn care company, a standard 10,000-square-foot lawn takes about 30 minutes to aerate. Uneven, sloped, or especially large lawns can take significantly more time. So, depending on your lawn's size and condition, the process can take anywhere from half an hour to several hours.

The best time to aerate your lawn is during the spring or fall when your grass is actively growing and the soil has enough moisture. Aerating once in the spring and once in the fall yields the best results. Avoid aerating when your lawn is dormant or right after heavy rain when the soil is too wet—that can make aeration less effective.

Even if your lawn looks healthy, aeration can still be beneficial. If you have good growth, proper drainage, and little thatch, you might not need to aerate right away. Regular aeration helps water and nutrients reach the roots, keeping your lawn strong over time. Keep an eye on your lawn's condition to decide when it might need aeration.
