"I was planning to put solar panels on my roof, so needed a roof inspection. I wanted to make sure my roof would last at least 10 more years. I selected several companies and A-1 Budget roofing responded promptly and had a good price. I found out that my existing roofing felt (tar paper) was worn and needed replacing, but my tile was in good shape and could be reused. <br /> First, I had my roof tile cleaned to remove algae. <br /> Then A-1 Budget roofing scheduled the work around the rain, and coordinated the installation with the solar panel company. They removed and stacked the old tile on my roof, removed the old roofing felt and replaced with two layers of 40 pound felt. They had the solar company place their brackets on the roof so they could properly seal them before they completed the re-roofing. This took several days to complete, but all was done before the rain. <br /> They also removed some very old bird nests that were tucked under the eaves, and put up bird stop to keep those birds from nesting again. They replaced some flashing as needed and some broken tile, and when they were done all of the color matched perfectly. <br /> The original bid was for $8500 and he had to check on permit fees from the city. The final invoice included the original $8500, minor costs of $64 for new fascia board, and $380 for roofing permit. <br /> My new roof is warranted for 10 years, but they told me it should last another 40 - 50 years with two layers of 40 pound felt. <br />"

"Great company to work with. The owner Steve was very professional, and attentive to all my roofing needs. His workers are hard working individuals and very meticulous. The tear down took 3.5 hours. That was crazy fast. The next day they where on the roof and replacing the fascia board. Before I new it, they were laying the black paper an installing the Presidential Shake TL. What a awesome job they did. I was so blown away how efficiently they worked and cleaned up after themselves everyday. I highly recommend Guardian Roofs. "This company is great. Dennis had done the roof for us many years ago, but it started leaking during hard rains. Dennis came and fixed the leak, then gave us an estimate to redo our roof. After we contracted with Dennis and a date was set, the job was started and completed in about 2.5 days. The team of workers came at 7:30 AM on May 25, (as promised) and removed the old shingles. They completed the removal and cleanup in about 3 hours. They put down tarps around the house before starting the removal and cleaned everything up before they left. Later that day, the new roofing materials were delivered. Friday morning about 6:30 AM, the roofer arrived and worked all day. He had to repair a few bad places and install the shingles. He completed the major portion of the work on Friday, then returned about 8 AM on Saturday and had the job done by early afternoon. We are very pleased with the new roof and the efficiency of the workers. They even did some extra work cutting back bushes and trees that were in the way. I recommend Dennis Cook Roofing very highly and I will use them again."

I've already recommended them to friend. they repaired a 10'by10' area with paper and my unbroken and their new tiles 8 were broken and checked the rest of the roof."

"Had a bad leak around the chimney. Bree came and inspected thoroughly, even going up in the attic to see things from the inside. He and his helper came and did the repair, then came back the next day to test with a hose to make sure it was working. They found an additional opening in the stucco, which they repaired and painted, no extra cost. Thorough and painstaking work."

Project took four days, plus powerwash.  Henry stopped by before starting the project to match color of wooden house ceiling to the underside of the wooden eaves.  The only snag was the front door not drying very fast.
