"I had 2 very tall, 40 year old cottonwood trees in my yard that were partly hanging over my house. The yard provided no access for a lift bucket so I needed a tree company that was able to cut these trees down by climbing them. It was going to be a big challenge. I called 8 tree companies in Billings and only 3 of them returned my call. Joey Ogburn, owner of Arbor Elite, was the first to call me back with a bid. Joey impressed me from the very beginning. He was professional, knowledgeable, punctual and willing to tackle this challenging job. He sent me his proof of insurance, his bid sheet, business license and independent contractor license before starting the work. On the day he was scheduled to start, he showed up on time with his crew and specialized equipment. My wife and I watched him work, as did the neighbors. The trees had to be climbed and cut from the top down. It truly was impressive, amazing and crazy watching Joey and his crew cut these huge trees down piece by piece, all without a lift bucket. This job required a high level of expertise and Joey brought it all. A large part of one tree was hanging over the house so those pieces were tied off and lowered to the ground after being cut. Doing that required ropes, pulleys and other hand operated mechanical devices. Joey was organized and paid constant attention to the safety of his crew and the protection of my property. When these huge trees were down, the wood was all neatly stacked out of the way, the stumps were ground down and the yard was cleaned up. I couldn’t have been more pleased with Joey and Arbor Elite. I expect him to be around for a long time. He has a great combination of work ethic, business professionalism, technical knowledge, proper equipment and positive attitude. "These guys are the best of the best at what they do! We are building a house and shop, and hired a different contractor to build both. We’ll as things progressed things with the house we’re not getting done on time and all time lines to begin working on the shop Kelly being pushed off! We’ll I started getting irritated as I wanted the shop up before the snow flies. The final lie was told by contractor building house so I contacted Stag Construction and showed them the plans and the price I was quoted ( which was another nail in the coffin. Prior contractor quoted over $300,000.00 to build a 40x80 shop! I mean come on it’s not a house! ) Austin looked at it and said I can save you a lot of money this is ridiculous. I said great when can you start ? He said tomorrow , but we do have a few houses to finish also so we will be back and forth. Boy I tell ya Austin and his crew brought they’re A game every day and even worked weekends! They built my shop with such perfection and so timely at a fair price!!! I have been enjoying a fire in my wood stove they installed as well, daily. Get this the f……… house still isn’t done but my shop is.. You can’t go wrong with these guys! Honest, dependable, and fair!
