"Our medium-to-large project took two weeks and involved landscaping the back yard of our brand new home. Michael and his crew at Habiscapes do amazing work! The team is skilled and meticulous in everything they do and really went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied customers. The team is helpful, flexible, and collaborative when minor design tweaks were needed and offered helpful advice. They show up on time and are thoughtful, considerate, friendly, and hardworking. We had quotes from other vendors for our work, but went with Habiscapes because of their reputation on Angie's List and because we really enjoyed working with Michael. He is clearly passionate about his work and is a fair business partner. Michael and his crew focus on one job at a time, which was important to us. In the end, the little extra we paid was well worth it. We are very happy with the quality of the final end product and feel we got a tremendous value. We plan to use Habiscapes in the future for our front yard. You will not be disappointed with Habiscapes!"

"We have been in a 5 year renovation of a 100 year old home in Boise's north end.  This year, it was time to have the 678 sq. ft. paver patio installed in what had become nothing but dirt back yard.  Of the 3 bids received, we chose Far West Landscape because they took time to fully understand our drainage concerns with the house's sandstone foundation.  Gus Hess visited the site multiple times and brought in a consultant from the paver company to assist with planning the right solution  <b>before</b> submitting their bid.  They were not the least expensive bid, but we had confidence they understood and had planned for our issues.   <br>They showed up on time and completed the project within the planned time frame.  The work ethic, professionalism and attention to detail by the crew was outstanding.  When we ran into an unplanned issue with the sandstone foundation, the consultant was brought in to discuss and recommend a solution.  They repaired and integrated an old sandstone basement entry and agreed to use an historical lime based mortar recipe (provided by us) to help with controlling spalling, even though this was a technique new to them.  The work site was cleaned up each day and left clean at the end of the project. <br>The biggest compliment we can pay is that they LISTENED to us before, during and after the project and were as willing to learn from us as we were from them. <br>We are extremely happy with the look of the permeable paver patio and, a month in, the drainage is working as promised.  We would highly recommend Gus, Rance, Adrian and the entire crew for any hardscape project.   <br>"

"They were terrific. I don't have a dislike with them. The owner is Ken. He hires good people. They are very respectful and hard working. They don't smoke or curse, which was nice.  They show up and do the job. They asked me to look at it to be sure I was all right with it. They would tweak anything I asked them to tweak. They were great. I've already set up to use them next year. They will be my go-to company for work in my yard. It was a huge job. They created a pond and reworked my entire sprinkler system. They planted a couple of things and they laid down pavers. They just do about anything in a yard. They do work for the city in the parks so they are pretty broad reaching."

"It went well. The serviceman arrived when he said he would. I was not home when it occurred (my choice), but I was sent a detailed invoice with the services performed. I have been using Gisin for many years without any problem. I had a sprinkler and quot;stuckand quot; once and they were there within the hour. I have had nothing but excellent service. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Donnelly, ID

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
