"Good experience. Technician diagnosed the problem quickly. The only issue I had the timing. The issue happened right before Memorial Day. The tech told me he would try to get the replacement part the Friday before but if he could not the repair would need to take place the following week. The following Tuesday I had to call to set up the follow up appointment which was done quickly. But after putting down money towards the replacement part, it was annoying that I had to follow up with a date. ABL should have driven this."

Ruben has been great as we try to figure out if it is worth it to keep the appliances or to replace them. He has done work for us on microwaves, washer/dryer and dishwasher. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
